I just started some Haqqislan Ghulams.
I liked the mini before, but after painting it, I am simply blown away by the quality of the sculpt. The minis are still a big pain deep down below to assemble. But once done, you are rewarded! As always with Infinity I muted the colours a bit.
I also took the opportunity to rephotograph my 2006/2007 Yu Jing force. So here you go, old school Yu Jing.

Love the colors.
Very nice figures.
I am really taken by the figure on the left, last photo.

Superb!! Great work on those lovely minis. :)
-
Those are quite nice. I don't always comment but it's always a pleasure to see your work.
Of all the troop sculpts for the different factions, I'm partial to the Ghulams. Very utilitarian light troops with a cool aesthetic.

Thanks folks!
:)
I always liked Infinity minis, but the recent minis are something else.
We live in great times indeed as far as miniatures are concerned!
-
Beautiful!
-
Always a pleasure to view your work!
-
Very nice.

Painted the female Ghulam, again a fantastic miniature.

I remember seeing your YJ back when the Infinity rules existed only as a free PDF! 8)
Your new Haqq models are beautiful though, and showcase your change in painting style over the years too, heh. :D

Ahh, those were the days when I still understood the rules...

Hopefully for the better! ;D

OK folks, after a small detour to Skitarii I am back on Ghulams...

Last of the 3 Ghulam from the Red Veil box, the knife fighter.
And all 2 together:

Marvellous.

Just noticed your update!! Great work once more, they really are top notch. :)

Fantastic work! I bought myself a Tohaa force a while back but I can't for the life of me get motivated to paint them. Maybe this thread will help reinvigorate me!

Thanks! Hopefully you will start working on them, Infinity makes some fantastic minis!

Nice work as usual. You ever do a painting tutorial, I'm signing up. (unless you're one of those fancy, new-fangled airbrusher types)

Outrage
(http://www.adpublishing.de/assets/images/Outrage_Knauf.jpg)
I really liked the Outrage comic (I am still hoping for a A4 sized colour version!). I also ordered the minis and started with Knauf.

What a great thread! Having painted those Haqqislam for a friend a while ago, it's very impressive to see what you've done with them.
-
Fantastic painting
-
Nice work.

Even though your minis make me want to burn my brushes I still love to see your work.
That said, do you have any tips for painting darker skin tones, been experimenting lately and just can't seem to get the mix right and realistic.
Keep it up
Cheers

Thanks folks!

Darker tones can be down very effectivly just with washes.
For example, the beard shade on Knauf is juts a Nuln oil wash, same goes for the undercut of Nakadai.

Indeed. That is some awesome paintjob. These miniatures (or correctly put .. some of the miniatures) always have had an appeal on me. When thinking about a project in more futuristic setting i seriously considered getting on board with the Infinity miniatures. ;-)

Done!

Beba Rodriguez, the fearless TAG Pilot. I really disliked the chain mail bikini look, so I went for a more serious black skinsuit that “might” make sense inside a TAG.
