Well, time to begin! While waiting for my official minis and book to arrive, I thought I'd get started on my back-up posse, a Tong Gang headed by a Hopping Vampire. I'll play as Red Hand Coven until the first supplement is released w/ proper Tong rules.
The first mini, the Hopping Vampire from the Atomico Kung Fu Miniatures KS:

Just some basing to do and the rest of the Tong should be ready next week.

Now that our Frostgrave campaign has finally come to an end, I can get serious on prep work for our Dracula's America games. Minis and rules have sat sadly neglected all this time, but now the paint table has been cleared!
1864 Poker deck and bone dice in a brain-tanned bag to give a little in-game color!
Next up: pics of my painted Congregation. :)
-
Good start there, you'll love playing the game too.
-
We played our first test game yesterday, and had a pretty damn good time! Quite a bit of fumbling around to figure out the gameplay, but once we got going, it flowed very nicely!
Did anybody do a set of tokens yet? I was amazed by the number of markers we had on the table. When 3 guys in a melee are shaken, done, and jammed, it is a mess!

A moody Vampire shot!
-
Nice progress - looking the business!
And that 'promo' shot is nice too.
-
Really nice progress, mate.
Very creepy and atmospheric, I am really getting the 'vibe'.

Wow, just wow!
Great minis and paintjobs. I am very impressed, love your theme.
-
Loving those blues juxtaposed with the earthy tones.
-
Great stuff, sir.
My favourite has to be that Nosferatu.
:-* :-*
-
Just brilliant! :-*
-
Very nice! The blue eyes on congregation members work really well.
-
I wasn't sure about the elder vampire sculpt but I think you sold it to me with your paint scheme. The black and white of the film works for him.
-
Excellent! :-*
-
My favourite has to be that Nosferatu.

Mine too.
They are a scary looking bunch all round
-
The new recruits! The plan is to do all the encounters, all the Hired Guns, then start on new Posses. Hope you like!

Our first campaign game, board still a WIP but coming along nicely! Congregation v Red Hand Coven, at first I thought my Voodoo boys were going to get crushed, but they squeaked out last man standing and a draw. Pretty damn fun, still made a few mistakes, but massively enjoyed the whole thing!

Nice work!
I am loving the new additions.
Faves this time around have to be the Woodland Indian and the Manitou (a proper grisly bear, that one!)

Very nice table, and those Foundry guys have tons of character! :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

That shootist is totally a much younger Muammar Gaddafi!

Some great additions and progress.

Wow, cool!

@LeadAsbestos: And here I show my complete ignorance of technology- but are those actual drawings, or some fancy filtering effect?? o_o
Either way, the pics look fantastic- and those bats will be getting proper rules in the future, so impressive foresight as well!
-
Thanks! They are pics of actual minis filtered thru the Prisma app. All sorts of weird things you can do to pics w/ it, but this particular one is my favorite for DA.
Like poor Gus the Prospector here, deciding if a few nuggets are worth risking meeting some Eldritch Horror!

Why does that not surprise me, sir?
I look forward to seeing your take on this genre too.
Gothic goings on in the railroad depot sounds like the order of the day.

What is next on the list?
Finishing up the minis for the Unwelcome Guests list, just the finishing touches on the Pale Rider to go, then one of each Hired Gun, then to finish up the Skinwalkers Apache tribe for my next posse.
All alongside the work for our own narrative campaign, 4 linked scenarios and a pile of terrain and minis!

Behold, the Pale rider...

Finished my Tong, so now I have Shadow Tong AND a Red Hand Coven posse with just a switch of the unusual characters.

One more game for campaign one, and then on to a whole new one, hopefully with a couple new players as well as all new posses. I'm thinking of playing the Kin? Didn't strike my fancy when the rules were released, bu then I realized it was the lackluster minis that did it and not the rules. I've got a great idea! :)
-
Looks great! I'm digging the bases
-
Love it! Where are the penanggalan models from...?
-
The old China Town range, from Stone Circle Games.
-
New campaign calls for a new Posse! I'm waiting on minis for the Kin, so I got these ready in case they don't make it for game 1!
Desert Tribe Skinwalkers, Apache theme. My Shaman is going to be the villain in the campaign I'm working on, so I thought it would be nice to give her a little development before I roll it out...

They all look superb and ya gotta love the friendly little fella trapped in the curtains.
:-* :-*

If that 'friendly' chap gets free, it will be curtains for all of us!
-
lol lol

Another good looking posse

Love the bear. Love the spotty shirts and will copy.

today we had a trial run with all the old rules and all the rules from the new supplements in preparation for our new campaign that is about to begin.
The Kin vs the Dark Confederacy vs the Church of Dagon in an area of Convergence in a swamp in the Deep South. Got my butt kicked, but had a blast, as usual! I'll continue to play the Kin, and re-work my tactics.

Your Kin Posse is fantastic! What models did you use?
Also, count me as a fan of your Congregation's color scheme.

Don't know where to start! These really tell a story, your painting style is really effective and it all fits together so nicely, I'm taking lots of notes keep it up please!
That bear miniature that looks like it's ripping out of a blue shirt? where's it from? a friend of mine plays a druid and that would fit perfectly.

That is a werebear from Otherworld, and thank you!

How do the Otherworld and Knuckleduster minis size up with the North Star Dracula's America offerings? The scale is close enough?
