I opened this threat for my homegrown Space Marine Chapter the White Knights of the Ordo Teutonicus.
I used to play Warhammer 40k in the 90 beginning with Rouge Trader and then when my son was born I quit. I just came back in time for 8th edition and start a new army now from scratch.
So here is the first finished model of my chapter marines. A primaris marine sergeant.

Off to a great start, I admire people who manage to paint minis as soon as they get the minis build. I always end up building and painting... well, it might happen or nor lol
So Germania under invasion? Hopefully not inspired by more modern events? o_o Are you planning to make the orks as well and other forces too? And going for full army size force directly or build a small skirmish force for SW:A and such first and expand from there?

Pocoloco if you would see the mass of fine light grey plastic marines I build over the last weeks I would say I also build more then I paint. Aim is to build something like a complete 2nd Company over the coming years and I will do an orc force too.
No, the Invasion of Germania is entirely fictional ! It is based in the timeframe of the novels of the Beast and the Last Wall. The Ordo Teutonicus took part in the call for the Last Wall with the 3rd Schlachtkompanie ;)

Close combat, I see. Good pace with your marines, I can only wish to paint as fast as you do.

Oh the reason for the pace is that Space marines are very easy done with an airbrush. I do the basecoat and the first highlight with my airbrush. That is very quickly done as it is only one color you have to spray on . I use light grey as a base and white as the highlight. You only have to get a wash in the nooks and crannies then and redo the highlight in places. All that is left then is painting in the details and affixing the decals. I need about 2 hours for a squad of 5 Marines. By the way the decals are selfmade.

Here is the Komtur of the 3rd Gruppe 2nd Gefechtskompanie of the Galactic Knights Space marine Chapter. Komtur Karl is a former member of the Elite first Gefechtskompanie also known as “Mondkrieger” ( Moonwarriors) , therefor he wears the icon of the Mondkrieger on his left knee. A blue moon with the name Mondkrieger above in red. On the right knee he wears the Gruppe sign of the 3rd Gruppe a red chapter cross.

Here is the next Space Marine of the 2nd Gefechtskompanie 3rd Gruppe, Bruder Johann. This is the first beaky marine i did for the Galactic Knights. I will do a few more in older armor as it is the habit of the ordo teutonicus ,aka the Galactic Knights, to pass on old armor to new marines . So there will be ,eventually, all kinds of tactical and terminator armor in the chapter.

Here is the first member of the 2nd Gruppe 1st Kompanie ( Mondkrieger) of the Galactic Knights space marine chapter. This is as in every space marine chapter the elite company of the Ordo Teutonicus. They are called Mondkrieger ( Moonwarriors) as they claimed the Moon Münster for their chapter as a new base after the first Homeworld of the chapter was lost to an Ork attack. A long time that I added something here. But I painted another rather special space marine:
As xmas is gone I can show you pictures of a special xmas present for my son , without spoiling his surprise. He liked it very much when he unwrapped it at xmas eve.
He is a huge Night lords fan and therefore I thought it fitting to build him a Night lord display marine. As I got a resin 3d printer ( Anycubic Photon) and found STL files ,on thingiverse, for printing marines I thought about doing a bigger then life marine. The parts on thingiverse are 28mm ( heroic GW scale) so I resized the parts to something like 200% the normal size and started printing, building and painting. Here is the result next to a "real size" Marine.
