Title: New cover for shoot-outs
Post by: Michi on August 29, 2017, 10:38:49 PM
Since I couldn't find my crates and barrels for last week's first game of Dracula's America, I felt in need to make new ones.
Here is what I quickly made up from everything suitable I could find in the stash:

The crates and some barrels are resin casts, the coffin was a key chain charm and these barrels are from Playmobil:

Lovely painting on the barrels. Are they ink washed?

Correct - black ink wash and drybrush.

Loverly,

I really like tables with lots of detritus on them --- it's what makes a table (and what provides most cover!)

Your cowboys will thank you.  Maybe not the vamps so much.

I forgot the close-ups of the water supply for my yet-to-build mining company!  :D

Rather dry at the moment, the bottom is gathering dust...

Another lot of barrels is finished - I tried to give them a more bleached look. They are from Playmobil again, but the crate ist made of resin and came from another manufacturer (I had owned it for years and forgot from where).
