Title: New Panzerfauste figures
Post by: Inkpaduta on December 26, 2017, 03:18:50 AM
I am a big panzerfauste fan. The figures that I have are all the metal
figures fro Wessex Games. I was wondering if anyone was playing with the
new line of resin figures from Hysterical Games? If so, what do you think
of them?

I don't have any, but I've seen them at shows and I've got resin Pax B figures. The casting is excellent. The figures themselves seem "finer" than the Wessex metals -- this is probably down to being easier to cast that style in resin than in metal.

They have been talking about bringing back the Wessex metals -- and I'm a big fan of them too so I'm quite hopeful!

I think the resin ones are indeed a lot finer than the old metal ones. I too have some of the Pax Bochemannica resin figures and they are lovely, Panzerfauste is one of those ranges that interest me but I have done nothing about it yet! :)

You can still get the metal ones from Wessex Games. I ordered some earlier this month.
I also have the metal Pax Bochemannia figures. Could kick myself as someone was selling
a bunch of painted and unpainted Pax Boche a couple of months ago but I did not get them.

I have some of the resin Panzerfauste German dwarves from Hysterical Games. I am not going to use them for their intended purpose, they are slated for conversion. I can vouch that that the resin is not too hard, very easy to cut and work with.
