We kicked off this year's campaign season, with our first Ghost Archipelago game this past Saturday. Since it was the first game, and the first time with the rules for a couple of the guys, we played just a simple battle and not one of the scenarios.
My Heritor's report can be found here: https://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/01/ghost-archipelago-campaign-18-game-1.html (https://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/01/ghost-archipelago-campaign-18-game-1.html)
"...As the Elf leaned over to reach into the pedestal, he caught sight of the Heritor Gregorius for the first time, emerging from a patch of jungle on his left. The other Heritor clutched a grime-covered urn to his chest, and as he turned he likewise caught sight of Lord Fortrywn. Gregorius' eyes narrowed as he quickly apprised what Lord Fortrywn was doing. The old Elf could see the turmoil in his opponent's eyes as greed flashed across them. The human Heritor looked at his urn then back at the newly smashed hole in the idol's pedestal, his mind calculating..."

Great looking table.
I like the brambles. What are they made of? Pot scrubbers, furnace filter?

Thank you!
The Brambles are made from luffa sponge scrubbers. I have a complete build article on my blog: http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/01/quick-and-easy-vine-warden-bramble.html (http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/01/quick-and-easy-vine-warden-bramble.html)

Cool, thanks for the link.

Great report! I enjoyed the very fictional writing style. Lots of personality. I look forward to reading the continuing campaign.
How long did your game with five players take, just out of curiosity? And what size was the table...looks pretty big?

The game took about 4 hours, and we played 8 turns. The table we used was 3' x 8'.

Here is the report of Skorri Drakenberg who is also participating in the campaign to find the Crystal Pool. Hope you enjoy the story from the other end of the table.

8) COOL!!!!
-
Thank you all for the kind remarks regarding our reports! We appreciate it!
This past Saturday we played the second game of our campaign, and did the "X Marks the Spot" scenario from the core rulebook.
It was brutal. Brutal, and a real nail-biter.
So action-packed in fact, that I'm giving you two preview samples! ::o:
" ...It only took Gwynwater's single second of distraction, as she noticed the Gorilla approaching, for the Crocodile to see it's opportunity; and springing forward with more energy then belied the low short legs, the large reptile was upon the Elf, and it's mighty jaws clamped down upon her leg. She screamed out as she fell, and went down hard on her back. She could feel the bone crack in her leg as the monster clamped down, and the pain radiated through her whole body. With what remaining strength she had, the Hunter quickly curled forward and plunged her sword, tip first, into the base of the animal's head. The sharpened metal cut all the way through and a few inches into the ground. The beast writhed for a few seconds and then lay there motionless, its jaws still locked around the Hunter's leg. Quickly, Gwyn worked at freeing herself, as the huge Gorilla approached...."
Meanwhile...
"...With her Heritor's skill, Katheryne used her Backswing, to launch a powerful stroke at Lord Fortrwyn. But the old warrior was ready for it, and skillfully he locked his blade in hers, twisted his arm around in a circle, and the Heritor woman's ancestral sword broke free from her grip and spun lose in the air, landing far away behind the shattered temple outbuilding. He had Disarmed her. Katheryne hissed at the Elf, "How dare you!"
A patronizing smile, came over Lord Fortrywn's thin lips. "Please, girl, I fought and defeated your Grandfather in the Northern Border War when you were but a babe. You think you could be a match for me?" The Elf struck again, as Katheryne quickly drew a small secondary sword. It wasn't quick enough though, as the tall Heritor's blade hit it's target putting a gash in the woman's side. Blood dripped down onto her tartan skirt.
But the battle was not over yet..."

Thanks for the kind words regarding our reports!
Last weekend we played the third game of our Ghost Archipelago campaign, and did the Drichean Cages scenario from the core rulebook. What a game! My latest report has been posted. Enjoy!
"...As the fight was ending, Marny, the Warden, ran up to help. While the others hurriedly cleaned and sheathed their weapons, she went over to the prisoner , and taking him by the arm, tried gently but urgently, with soothing words, to get the quivering, sobbing, man to stand and go with them.
They all knew the Monarch was very close now. In fact they could see him on the far bank of the stream less than 100 yards away. "Quickly!" Lord Fortrywn said to his Niece. The Heritor looked around at the carnage. It seemed like there was no one left from Gregorious' crew. He surmised that they were probably all out of action, or ran at the sight of the Monarch. But he was wrong..."

Glad you are enjoying he reports, Mike! Good luck with your campaign, too!
You don't have to wait long for the next report; we already played our fourth game this past Saturday. A scenario called "The Island of Floating Hulks", based on a solo scenario, "The Floating Hulk", that was published in Wargames Illustrated.
What a game it was! Nine long turns of carnage and glory.
"...Frantically, the Crew-woman began to paddle, but the creature had seen the small craft and sped towards it. Arbyn set the oar down and, standing, brandished her sword. She had been sailing most of her life, and was not afraid to face any monster of the sea with a good Elven blade in her hand. She smiled, and braced her feet in the rocking craft. The Octopike disappeared a few yards from the boat; then with a shower of spray 8 powerful tentacles burst from the waves right next to the tiny vessel, and shot forward to wrap themselves around it's next meal. But Arbyn, daughter of the sea, was not prepared to die that day..."
"...A shout behind her caught Gwyn's attention, and turning she crossed the deck. Looking up, she saw one of Skorri's Archers up in the crows nest of a small derelict sloop right behind the blue-hulled ship. He seemed to have found something, and was calling to his friends on the larger vessel behind. Slowly, the Hunter raised her bow and notched an arrow. Determinedly, she drew back the bow, despite the fiendish pain it caused her. Gwynwater could feel a trickle of blood going down her back, but she did not waiver. A brightness shown in her eye for a brief flicker as she sighted down the shaft at her target. "Let it fly true." she whispered to herself, and released the arrow..."

Thanks, Mike! It certainly was. I don't want to ever do that again. o_o
Knabe lost his Warden in the previous game (The Drichean Cages). If you go back to the previous page, you can find the link to his report. He debuted his new Warden in this recent Floating Hulk game, after mag a trip back to the mainland. He should be around any day now to post his new report. :)
I realized I was playing too fast and loose with them, and need to start making better decisions on how to deploy them. This last game certainly was a wakeup call! :)

We had our 5th game this past Saturday, and oh my, what a fiasco! I need to learn how to start rolling dice better... ;D
"...Distracted by this new threat, the Wasp turned from the Archer and in a flash grabbed the unfortunate Crewman with two of it's good legs, and swinging it's body forward thrust it's long saber like stinger into Vilkse, before he even knew what hit him. The Elf crumpled to the ground, a gaping wound in his chest. Salin now came up to join the fight, and swung wildly at the insect, his sword hitting, but not cutting into the beast's chitinous body. As the Beast turned to face this new threat, Randy saw his chance, and plunged his dagger into the Wasp's side... "

Thanks for the kind words regarding the write-ups. I'm glad to hear they are serving as an inspiration. Yes, I really have a hard luck Heritor this time. I was rather successful with my Wizards and warbands in our last two Frostgrave Campaigns, so not really sure what's going on this time. Not sure if I'm playing wrong, or just am under a gaming black cloud at the moment.
Hopefully Knabe (Skorri) should be along with his report sometime soon...

We played the 6th game of our Campaign this past weekend and did the Blood Totems scenario from the core rulebook. It went really well.
My Elf Heritor's report and a bunch of photos have been posted on my blog: http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/06/ghost-archipelago-campaign-18-game-6.html (http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/06/ghost-archipelago-campaign-18-game-6.html)
"...Marny was still in the other valley with Finil. She raised her hands to cast another Bramble spell, making sure the valley was well sealed off. As the Warden finished, there was a sharp pain above her hip that quickly turned into a hot searing fire radiating up her back and down her right leg. (-8 HP and Poisoned) She let out a cry as she stumbled forward and fell to the ground. Finil immediately saw the arrow sticking from her, and instinctively looked for the shooter. There behind them, coming up near where they had entered the valley, was another Tribal Hunter. Marny soon felt her stomach flipping over and a sourness rising in her throat. Finil helped her pull the arrow. "Some cover would be good now perhaps." he said through clenched teeth as he worked on her. From her position on the ground, she weakly raised an arm towards the Tribal, and began the chant for the Brambles spell; but halfway through the spell her stomach inverted itself, the ground beneath her heaved, and turning her head, she vomited violently onto the valley floor. "Stay here." Finil said, and rushed off to face the Tribal Hunter himself. Seeing the Elf charging him, the Hunter quickly fired another arrow, hitting Finil..."

great as usual.
love that statue bottom right of the second pic. here in the thread...

Thank you, Bloggard!
Also thanks for the comment on the statue. It is from an old plaster scenery company called Otherworld Artifacts, and dates to the 80's I believe.
-
hold on ... 'otherworld artifacts' ... the company that used to advertise their 'dental plaster' scenics in the early White Dwarfs (at least here in the UK ...)?
my goodness.

Yes, I believe so. And very cool that you recognized the name! I knew a guy who was part owner of their US licensee, “The Dwarven Stonecutter”. And when the US operation folded, he brought home several dozen boxes full of left over product. Then about 5-6 years ago, he was cleaning out his garage and I inherited a few boxes of the stuff. Sadly, this was the only head statue that was there... :'(

I used to hang my nose over that ad. daydreaming of extensive 'set-ups' using their stuff... was never to be tho' :)

my favourite write-up / game so far I think.
the islands lay-out certainly looks great - and comes across as a great game in your narrative.
love the small touches in terms of the writing - Fortrywn sadly pondering the loss of his crewmember Gwyn - not over done, but enough to be 'involving' and characterful.
-
:D fantastic. again. thanks fo sharing!!!

Wow, thanks, Bloggard! I am so glad to hear you like what I'm doing with the narratives. As a writer, I come to really care about some of the characters, so when I hear others appreciate the little memories and call backs I do, I really appreciate it. I don't usually get a lot of feedback, so it's always good to hear when folks tell me they enjoy my reports.

Thank you, LiamFrostFrog! Like I said to Bloggard above, feedback like you guys give is always appreciated as it lets me (and I'm sure Knabe too) know if what we're doing is worth while.

Thanks, Mike!
Yes, it took me a while to develop my narrative form. My original game reports were very bare bones...
http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2016/02/frostgrave-campaign-kick-off-game.html (http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2016/02/frostgrave-campaign-kick-off-game.html)
So you should be able to do it too, once you get more familiar with running the game.
My secret nowadays is that I rely on taking copious notes to remember all the action. It's a bit of effort, but I find I can do it while other players are activating and I am waiting my turn. My problem is that towards the end of the game, as the action usually gets more fast and furious, I start forgetting to write stuff down! ::)

:D awesome.
-
aye, faba-mundo. Really lovely write-up.
you write at the end as tho' the islands set-up worked against game-flow and crew interaction? Interesting if so - it certainly looks wonderful, and your (and Chris's...) logs give the impression of an exciting and enjoyable game ...
-
Thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the report.
The set-up we used kind of channeled each set of opposing crews into strictly one-on-one encounters. Interactions with opposing crews to the left and right was restricted by the way we had set-up the terrain. We didn't realize this until the game was underway. It was still an exciting game but usually in our games given the number of players, a crew ends up encountering more than one other crew during the game. That did not happen this time. It was something Chris and I observed and discussed.
A good time was still had by all involved.
Knabe
-
Interestingly, this "channeling" also happened to some extent in the game we just played this past Saturday. (Eritherian Graveyard)
Here again, it was due to the terrain to some extent. Also, having only 4 players, and the scenario set up which placed the majority of the treasures into one 12"x12" area had an effect on this. But, I think another contributing factor is the players are learning that it really isn't safe to let there crews wander too far afield, as this allows them to be cut up piecemeal.
I got lured into wandering a little this time and paid the price as you'll see in my coming report...
-
We played our August Ghost Archipelago game on the 18th, and did the Eritherean Graveyard scenario from the core rulebook. My latest report has now been posted.
I hope you enjoy!
"...Marnilyne tried desperately to defend herself; but she was no match for two opponents, and the Pearl Diver's blade sliced her across her shoulder as the Monkey yanked her hair and took bites at her head and neck. It's claws gouged into her. The Elf flailed her arms, and tried desperately to dislodge the Monkey as she lurched back and forth. The Monkey was flung off, and the Pearl Diver stood there, shocked by the spectacle of the frenzied Warden. However, it did not take her opponents long to regroup, and they had now been joined by Skorri's Hunter..."

That is an inspiring terrain board, I really like the boneyard! Beautiful and inspirational work.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. The base of the graveyards is just a 12"x12" floor tile, and the piles of bones and pillars were 3D printed by Knabe.
-
my word, if anything your write-ups are getting even better! The 'incidental' detail of the graveyard you include to colour the narrative is beautifully atmospheric ...
y'know, I honestly think the rule-books would be enhanced with narrative reports of a quality like this, interspersed with the content as it currently stands. Fluff it's called I know ... but of real value in encouraging and inspiring, for the likes of me anyhow.
you made some erithereans tho' - can't see one in any of the photos? The bones are brilliantly done. 3D printed eh? roll on brave new world.

I couldn't diagree more. For me I like the ability to put my own imagination to things and I dislike fluff and such materials in any rulebooks - I consider them 'filler' to bulk out the book so you can charge more.
The frostgrave rule book is already at least twice the size it needs to be because of the way things are laid out. For example you do not need two descriptions of each spell - one in school order and another in alphabetic order.
Now, I happen to think frostgrave is a great little game - its maybe a little too dependent on dice rolls and less on tactics for me than I might like but thats a minor gripe. But I do think better clarity and layout of the rules would help.
In a previous life I was an engineer and for my sins had responsibility for a technical writing team that wrote operating and servicing manuals for fast jets. You learn something about clarity of language when you are explaining safety critical operations that might have multi million pound consequences to an operative who's first language is not english :-)

Thanks, Bloggard! It's always a hard task to balance the "atmosphere" with the direct game play narrative, so I'm glad you appreciate it. Probably a lot of folks just want me to get on with what happened!
As far as fluff goes, I'm somewhere in the middle between you and Brandlin; I don't necessarily want to see chapters of it, but I really like how it was handled in the Frostgrave rulebook with just a sentence here and there sprinkled throughout the rules. It really helped set the mood. It might be neat if there was just a couple paragraphs on one page at the very beginning to set the tone of the rules...
Here's the Eritherean I made from a Reaper Bones Bugbear and a toy elephant:

We also had some 3D printed Eriithereans, that were actually meant to be kind of Wooly-Mammothmen, so they were a bit hairier. I didn't post a photo of one of them anywhere, so don't have one to share. There might be a shot in Knabe's report, since he fought the one that appeared. :)
Yes, 3D printing is certainly the way things are going. It's all beyond me at the moment, but luckily Knabe has a handle on it, and a printer; so he keeps us supplied with the needed scatter terrain for our scenarios.

fair enough Brandlin, but personally I think you're going to the other extreme with that attitude - and that para of yours above would kind of suggest why to me, as fantasy miniatures rules aren't a very comparable product to the sort of thing you describe, either in substance or intention. Ultimately 'fluff' is what they're all about ... as opposed to historical simulations etc.
the sort of thing I mean would be page long 'excerpts' with atmospheric illustrations creating a border etc.
Done well (a la Chris's write-ups) these would a) stimulate my imagination rather than stifle it, and b) also help to illustrate the use of skills / spells etc 'in action' (again as per Chris's notes).
-
nice work on the Eritherean Chris.
I would certainly hope that you're not discouraged from with your write-ups (whether for GA or not) anyway.
yes, 3D printing - amazing, sci-fi-like to me really ... but on the minus side potentially the death-knell for many a small scale supplier of traditional gaming pieces (particularly terrain at this point) I would have thought, unless they get in early and are able to invest in more 'commercial' quality machines etc (quite apart from having the skills to model designs in-house) and give punters a compelling reason not to bother with doing it at home.
-
I have no intent to discourage anyone from their write ups.
Bloggard - we shall have to disagree.

Last Saturday we played our September campaign game; and did a home-brew scenario set in an abandoned Drichean Mine..
I have now written up Lord Fortrywn's report and posted it to my blog.
"...The Crew-woman hit the rough stone hard and the wind was knocked out of her, as the pain of putting weight on her injured leg brought firework explosions in her head. The flashes faded as a blackness overtook her and she slid to the floor unconscious.
Lord Fortrywn prepared to finish the Pearl Diver for good, but before he could thrust with his blade, his eye caught movement in the archway as Skorri Drakenburg himself burst into the room, with, oddly, a large Snapping Turtle following close behind..."
And...
"...As they went, Songlyne made sure the Ring and coin pouch were tucked securely in her pack. Before they reached the corner at the bottom of the slope, another large stone came sailing through the air and hit Salin square in the back. The Pearl Diver pitched forward from the force of the impact, and his head came down hard on one of the rusty rails, cutting a deep furrow across his forehead..."

that. is. totally. EPIC !! :-* :-*
awesome looking set-up.
looking forward to a read of the blog later this weekend.
interesting to see how the GA rules work out in that kind of terrain.
looks to be an absolutely fantastic conception for a scenario.
-
Terrific dungeon :-*
-
well, don't know how, but just getting better, having read the full write-up on your blog.
set-up looks fantastic, one of the best I've seen, but I think that your AAR reads even better in the minds- eye. A good reminder to me that that's how it should be I guess.
the mines / ' dungeon' setting seemed to work very well: compressing both the literal space, and also the drama of the encounters etc as a result.
again, I honestly think Osprey could look at licencing these write-ups from you - the combination of genuinely involving and exciting narrative (v. rare for bat. reports) together with just enough 'engine-room' detail about the game mechanics is really effective.
It certainly leaves me wanting to play the game more.
-
:D thanks fo sharing...great rep again!!!

That's a bloody awesome table - bravo!
-
Wow, thanks everyone for the comments! I'm glad you all enjoyed the report and the set-up.
Thanks for glowing review of my write-up, Bloggard! You need to get a job at Osprey so you can hire me. :D
-
sadly, unlikely I think Chris - but I'm serious in what I say about the quality of your write-ups and still think such material has a real place in rule-sets etc.
-
:D agreed. tis always a great inspirational read!!!

Thanks guys for the continued support! It really means a lot to us.
I wanted to share this brief report, and excellent map, Griffin posted on another forum. He was having difficulty getting it posted here, so I thought I'd help him out. It will give you a view of the battle from one more vantage point which I hope helps your enjoyment of the overall action.
Looking at Griffin's photo at the bottom, Lord Fortrywn's start zone was in the upper right corner.
"A page from Griffin's log, recording what he and his crew saw of the Drichean mines.
From their point of view, they scouted a few chambers, got in scuffles with old rivals Skorri and Kragmar, and lost two valuable specialists, Astrid (a man-at-arms) and Alana Eagle-eye (an archer) to an angry dwarf among Kragmar's crew, collecting only two treasures in return.
Not a good day in the Ghost Archipelago..."
"Here's a player-view of the situation, to compare to Griffin's log entry. At the time of the photo, Griffin and Alana had been blocked from pursuing Fortwyn's elves past the mine cart in the elevated room by a wall of brambles; a few crewmen drag a treasure away from the cart on the right, with Rosemary the herbalist having blocked pursuit and arrows from Skorri with a judicious deployment of some magic beans, and Ashalla the wave warden and Astrid disputing a treasure (which was eventually obtained) with Kragmar's crew about mid-frame on the left.
Beyond our ability to perceive, the duck crew is decimated by one of the vampires (middle top, where the dice are showing the vampire's 7 remaining hit points)."

A super report, Knabe! It was great to see things from your side of the table. :)
And now it time for the next game! On October 13th, we had our 10th session, and did the Saurian Breakfast scenario.
Lord Fortrywn's account has been posted, along with a bunch of photos: http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/10/ghost-archipelago-campaign-18-game-10.html (http://onemoregamingproject.blogspot.com/2018/10/ghost-archipelago-campaign-18-game-10.html)
Here's a couple teasers, of all the nail-biting action! :D
"...At last Lilisea felt her feet touch the sandy bottom, but as she went to stand a strong hand grabbed her tightly around the ankle and yanked her leg hard. She lost her balance, fell forward, and was pulled under the water. Trying desperately to break free, the Crew-woman kicked her leg, and, clawing the bottom with her free hand, tried to twist around so she wasn't facing the ponds floor. The man released his grip, and quickly moving alongside her punched her hard in the back. The air went out of her, as the Pearl Diver now grabbed her by the back of the head, and shoved it under the water and down to the pond's bottom..."
and
"...Calling on his inherited abilities once more, the Lord Fortrywn attempted to leap up and use the wall behind him as a springboard, but the wound must have weakened him worse than he thought, as he was not able to gain the momentum needed; and his attempt to Evade failed. His foot hit the wall but he was unable to propel himself upwards. His blood burned now like molten iron under his skin. (Fail my Evade attempt, another -3 HP) The enemy Crewmen were at first startled by the Elf Lord's upward movement, but quickly regained their wits, and as the Heritor landed clumsily, they struck once more..."

you're probably getting a bit tired of me saying it now but ... another great write-up.
I don't think I've read better than yours and Knabes - evocative and well-written, yet still to the point, and superbly illustrative of the rules in action. Brilliant.
-
Lol... Thanks, Bloggard! And I have to say, so few people ever comment on our write-ups, that we sometimes wonder if anyone is reading them; so we will never grow tired of hearing your comments. They let us know someone is actually out there reading what we write. :)
And I have another report from the Saurian Breakfast to share, this one from the Heritor Griffin who was opposite me. He posted it on another venue, and gave me permission to share it here:
In our continuing search for the Crystal Pool, we landed on an island to taken on fesh water, and to scout around for clues. Our scouts soon found evidence that others had been here recently, and possibly had come to a bad end, leaving their treasure behind. With Ashalla, Rosemary, and Hawkeye, (plus a handful of crewmembers), I pressed on toward the center of the island. We soon found the tattered bodies of some other Heritor’s crew, and a circle of large eggs. Approaching the eggs from the opposite direction was the crew of the Heritor Fortrwyn (all pointed-eared demons, so far as I could tell). We had had a brush with them in the abandoned Drichean mines recently. Whle I was somewhat uneasy about the ggs, some of which were rocking as though hatching were imminent, the area appeared to be rich in treasure, so we pressed forward. Ashalla and half the landing party bore to the left, toward a pond where the signs indicated that a treasure might be found. Ashalla imbued Bluff the Chantyman with waterbreathing so that he was able to recover the treasure from the pond. Another was found in a clump of dense foliage. Meanwhile, I found myself in a scuffle with Fortrwyn’s demon crewmembers in the very center of the circle of eggs. A blast of demon magic warped my sword, although I still used it to split one of the demons.
Fortunately, my Heritage makes swords somewhat optional, and I felled a demon or two with hurled rocks. (The situation was somewhat confused...) At some point during this fight, one of the eggs cracked, spilling a baby monarch into the middle of the melee. It was felled by one of the demons, but gave out a horrifying scream as it died. It was a little later when we found out what that scream had portended...
The melee in the middle of the egg circle continued for some time. Two of my crewmen had pinned the demon lord against a rock, and I stepped in to finish him with my sword. The bent blade twisted in my hand, though, and Fortrwyn dealt me a mighty blow. I stepped back for a moment to recover. Not wishing to trust the sword again, I hefted a head-sized rock.
Fortrwyn struck down another of my crew, leaving me an opening. With a final effort, I struck him with the hurled rock and he fell.
Meanwhile, another egg had hatched, which would have been problem enough...but the death cry of the first hatchling had attracted the attention of a fully mature monarch, a monster like few I had seen before. I calld out to the remaining crew members to follow me in a bid to seek safety by heading back to the beach (and our ship) by another route. Happily, no other crewmen were lost, but only five of the party that had set out that morning gathered again at the ship as night fell...
<Here ends the excerpt from Griffin’s log>
From the player point of view, here was an overview of the table:
and a closer view of the zone where my crew was engaged. You can see that Griffin simplified the situation somewhat in his logbook sketch.
I did end up with three treasures as the game ended, although Chris’s Fortrwyn and crew managed to make off with the central treasure from our egg circle; I always had something even more pressing to do that to try to drop his treasure-carrying crewman with the usual rock.

Thanks all for the kind remarks!
Well, we played the final game of our 2018 campaign back on December 8th. I have now posted a report on our final session, "Christmas Islands", which was based on the Core rulebook's "Swampland" scenario.
We never got to play our November session, as I was sick, and unable to host.
I didn't get around to writing the bulk of my report until the new year, and by then had forgot many of the details, so did not do a narrative account. Instead I simply posted photos from the game and a brief synopsis.

Thanks Bloggard! Sorry to disappoint; but on the bright side, you won't have to wait long for more narrative, as we will be starting the new 2019 campaign in just a couple weeks. :)

Thanks, Ogrob! They are 3-D printed bases with lichen glued to the top. Knabe made them, so no they're not readily available to be bought somewhere. Sorry.

Look forward to it Chris.
will you use scenarios from the supplements, or home-brew? Well, anyhow, time will tell :)

We looked at a couple of the supplements, but the way their campaigns are set up doesn’t really support big multiplayer games like we run. So we will probably do a mix of self-designed, replays from the Core Rules, Frostgrave adaptations, and ones based on the Supplements but changed to suit our group.
