Finally the time has come when I can announce a new line of miniatures from Khadrin's Miniatures. They should be available very soon, I just have a couple of minor issues to fix now. "Khadrin's Miniatures" is a french brand of miniatures.
This first line will be fantasy villagers, adventurers, furniture, and more ...
These 1/100th scale miniatures (15-18 mm) are hand sculpted and finely detailed by talented sculptor Shumin and then moulded by Griffin Moulds JJP Ltd in lead free metal. They will please RPG players, as well as skirmish gamers. No doubt, they'll find a place on painters, diorama makers and collector's shelves too.

The first available set will be. The Wood Elf Set 1 :
Deep in the Tor Lenneth forest, by the side of a singing stream crossing a clearing, a wood elf village is hidden.
This set contains :
4 males : Merenduil the Thirsty Gardener, Armedhel the Potter, Finluin the Flute player, Thiridol the Bee Keeper.
4 females : Eithel the Basket Weaver, Tinethil the Mushroom Picker, Alvenith the Mother, Lorelin the sulking baby girl.
7 accessories : 1 potter wheel, 2 chairs, 2 tables, 1 beehive, 1 basket.
Male elves are 17 mm at the top of the head, females 16 mm

OFFICIAL LAUNCH
Hi you all, here is a bit of explanation on how I plan to get started. As you may already know, I am new to this business and on a very small and tight budget so I'm going to start slowly to avoid making big mistakes.
I considered for a while using the kickstarter platform but between the "special low price" for backers and the 8-10% for Kickstarter itself, I would have lost quite a lot of money. Money needed to reinvest immediately in sculptor commissions and mould making.
So here is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna start just with the Wood Elf Villagers Set1 on the 17th of February and I'm going to ask you the full price :
For France : 11 € + 1,60 € = 12,60 €
For the EU : 11 € + 2,40 € = 13,40 €
Rest of the world : 11 € + 2,60 € = 13,60 €
Now, I know that some of you will see the price as quite high but please do consider the quality of the sculpts and details, also the fact that all 8 figurines are in unique poses and you find 7 accessories inthe set (1 potter wheel, 2 chairs, 2 small tables, 1 basket and 1 beehive).
I promise to you first customers that you won't regret it, please do trust me.
After the wood elves set will follow the Orc Villagers Set 1, then an adventurers pack with 4 adventurers all in foot and mounted versions. You can already start drooling on this one, as my FB profile picture show the mounted version of the dwarf cleric named .... Khadrin how odd !!!
After the adventurer pack, it will be "To infinity... and beyond !!!

Hi again people. As I told you before, the official launch will take place on the 17th of February. But I changed a few things, first of all, you can pre-order starting from today but your orders will be shipped only on the 19th of February. This will give me time to make things smoothly as it is all new for me, I hope you'll understand. The other change is that instead of having only the "WOOD ELF VILLAGERS SET 1", you'll be also able to purchase the "ORC VILLAGERS SET 1" from the launch too.

Cleric type : A Dwarf male cleric with hammer and shield - both on foot and mounted version - Mount : a mountain goat
Magic user type : A High elf male mage - both on foot and mounted version - Mount : a horse (Akhal Teke type)
Rogue : A Human girl thief - both on foot and mounted version - Mount : a horse (Quarter Horse type)
The following set will be a dwarf villager set. What I can tell you right now as a teaser is that in this set there will be a

Mine arrived today - wow, they're detailed! I haven't actually painted any 15mm figures yet and these are quite daunting. Impressive how you managed to sculpt such tiny models. :o

So, "Hear hear", I've been discussing the issue with David McBride from SLM and I'm going to get some of his stuff available on Khadrin's Miniatures. Being on a small and very tight budget, I'd like to avoid piling up in my store stuff that won't sell. Hi people
After a looong time at french customs (thanks to the strikes, days off and natural administration efficiency), I've just been advised the SLM package will be delivered tomorrow saturday 05th of may at my place. So for those of you who pre-ordered, I'll be shipping your stuff on the following monday.
Also from monday 07th of may, I will have a small stock of SLM figurines available, basically the wood elf, the orc, the dark elf and the ratmen lines. Check my website.

A little update ! In the coming weeks, Khadrin's Miniatures will add 2 sets to the shop, a half orc villagers set and an adventurers set containing a male dwarf cleric, a female wood elf ranger, a male high elf mage and a female human thief. Then will follow a few dwarf troops sets, the dwarves will hopefully please skirmish and wargame players.

Soon you will see in Khadrin's Miniature range 3 regiments of dwarven troops, clad in chainmail with different helmets and shields, these sturdy warriors will wield hammers, axes and spears ! Ok then, here it is ! I am glad to announce the beginning of the dwarf troops pre-ordering campaign. It starts with a unit of 6 dwarves wielding axes and a unit of 6 dwarves wielding hammers. It starts today and will end on the 20th of January. The figurines should be shipped in february.
The money will be used to make the moulds and for the production of the figurines. If I collect more money than needed, the extra money will be used directly for new sculpts. Thanks to you all for your trust !

The doors of the dwarven stronghold bang open as dwarves of the Redhammer Clan come forth to face the orcs. It's time to defend their home "Khur Zedan" and rid the orcs of the Black Skull tribe off the Arian mountain range !
These troops are but the first wave of the "Khadrin's Miniatures" dwarven range, sculpted by "Shumin" and painted by "Haschatan Sÿx Studio", these sturdy warriors are 14 mm at the top of the head.

I must say, they look splendid!
I am constantly thinking about doing some armies on a smaller scale. I am done with 28mm when it comes to armies.
6mm is too small for me. I just don't like the models. 10mm better, but they still often look a bit off to me, especially the weapons. 15mm is often better proportinally and your models could've easily fooled me thinking they are 28mm.
Not saying I will settle on 15mm, but let's just say you are not making it easier for me to decide! :)
Good luck on everything, and who knows, maybe I will start an army somewhere in the future!

I might, I might! These Dwarfs really do look magnificent! Coupled with the Splintered Light Historicals there's at least already a lot for me to enjoy. However, I don't really like the Splintered Light fantasy range too much.

Are there plans for Orc army units? So far, almost every single Orc and Goblin faction released, whatever the scale, is comical and silly, and I absolutely HATE that look for them. The only ones I like are the LotR ones.
Your Orc villagers look a lot more realistic and serious, which I quite like. Some armoured Orcs with serious looking faces like those would definitely pique my interest.

Nahh, just kidding. Take your time. Your drow look cool too, though I am more a fan of the uniformed poses of the Dwarfs so far. But that's me.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE
Hi you all, this is a bit of a bad news. As I've got several important issues that need fixing, health and administrative being the most important and my business is a single person one, I won't be able to offer services to a good quality standard. Thus I have to close my business. Hopefully it'll be for a few months only. Do not worry, in the meantime, I will keep working on making new miniatures so when I'll be back, you'll have nice stuff added to my range, dwarves, dark elves, kobolds, etc ...
I won't make another SLM group order before closing.
If you want some stuff from Khadrin's Miniatures you have until the 30th september midnight to order.

I'm very Sorry! I appreciated so much your Adventurers and I'm waiting impatiently for kobolds and dark elves... but Personal problems are the most important thing. I Hope you Will fix everything.
