The limited palatte really works and the red really pops :)

The other two were produced by TT Combat and were only available for sale during the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend of November 2017.

Will it surprise you at all to hear that House Escher is my favourite house? I thought not! :D

I'll be showcasing them very soon as I'm currently painting the new plastic Escher gangers. :-*

Regarding my bases. I'm trying to move away from plastic slottabases where I can and using MDF bases instead. Sorry to say I'm not a fan of transparent bases! :-[

They're not transparent, they're INVISIBLE! ;) And they completely solve the problem of the figure taking debris and mud all over the furniture when moved inside buildings and into vehicles! :D

I made 25 columns, 20 single walls and 15 double walls. I'm going to add earth magnets to them so that they can fit together easily. The only site I could find selling them was Death Ray Designs who are based in the USA. The price of P&P plus the inevitable customs charges put me off ordering them, which is why I went down the home-grown route.

Do you think that the new Orlocks are a bit too beefy? I always felt that the Orlocks were more 'man on the street' rather than 'man from the gym'.

Thanks for the kind words, Inso. Yes, I do think the new Orlocks are much beefier and chunkier. They do look like they've been working out a lot. Like you, I prefer the "less muscle-bound" types.

Sadly, the same for the new Eschers. :(

I've read somewhere that this new "muscular look" is to please the eyes and other things of the new GW management staff! lol

I'm very curious, too. I imagine they'll do a good job on them. They really seem to have got their act together with these new plastic gang sets.
