Title: Couple of Heroclix re-paints
Post by: leegwonfu on February 28, 2018, 07:13:06 PM
I've recently finished up a couple of Heroclix re-paints: Ultron and The Absorbing Man. I didn't do much to Ultron other than throwing a couple of washes on him, but I did a little more extensive work on the Absorbing Man. I didn't re-prime either of them. There are some really cool sculpts available, and they can look pretty good without much effort.

Good stuff Leegwonfu, I'm a big fan of re-painting "Heroclix" miniatures myself :-)

Looking good.  Repainting heroclix is fun and well worth it.  Usually they are pretty decent sculpts underneath all that goopy factory paint.

Thanks, guys. They are definitely fun to repaint, and a lot of them can be made to look really good, with not much effort. Here are a couple more: Iron and Mercury of the Metal Men. Iron didn't need much done to him, other than a couple of washes and very faint highlights, but I reworked Mercury a lot, although the figure itself does not lend itself to that much attention.
