Title: New 28mm WW2 MDF scenario company - Scenic Store
Post by: Predatorpt on March 11, 2018, 04:08:50 PM
This company popped on my radar today.

https://scenic.store/

I had seen some of their mdf works on a Portuguese wargamer group on FB but it's really something else to see all of them together. The Russian Village looks great (and there's more buildings than the ones on their banner, lol):

Keeping my fingers crossed for some sci-fi terrain soon. Their prices are way more cheaper than my usual MDF dealers  o_o

I've just come across these buildings and they look very good. At present they do a nice Russian village and are just starting a Normandy range. I think I might be investing a few pennies in some of these buildings.

Nice, but somebody better correct them on the snippet of text accompanying the stone bridge products: it states that the first wooden bridges were built by the Romans, somewhere between 27 BC and 100 AD, but the oldest (still existing and in use!) stone bridge (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkadiko_Bridge) is the one on the road to fort of Tiryns in Greece, dating to at least 1300 BC... ;)

+++EDIT+++ Found the accompanying Wiki article and provided a link :)

These chaps have popped up on here before ;).

If your in the market for this style of building, Then the Warbases range is quite a useful alternative.(and a little cheaper)

I have got a couple of Warbases buildings, which are very good, but I like to have some variety.
