A few years back, someone on another board discovered some wonderful colour plates made by someone or other, showing a huge range of camouflage and unit markings on WW2 tanks and armoured vehicles, mainly British and Canadian but I think there were other commonwealth nations included too.
I recall them being free to download (maybe they were pdf's?) and I had a load of them on my hard drive, but somehow I've lost them and I'm not sure they're still available on the interweb (I have a vague recollection they were only available for a limited time). Does anyone else have them so I could beg them off you? Or are they still available to download?

Armoured Acorn may be the site you where thinking of, but it seems to have gone. You might be able to find the images for archive sites?
I have some details on my website http://www.kerynne.com/games/BritishArmouredRegimentTOE.html but they certainly aren't wonderful colour plates!

Cubs, I have the entire armoured acorn collection. Send me a pm with your email and I’ll get them over to you.
Plus my pictures of Mountain Goats.
Cheers

You two are both Kings among men, many thanks. I had completely forgotten the name of the people who had made the images. Pity they're not still available to download free. Maybe they now sell them?

I like the OOB details you have on the early Desert War stuff. That's the sort of stuff I'll be aiming to focus on.
Ha! Focus! Like I ever do that!

Glad it was useful, it was stuff I put together a number of years ago.
Focus, I think I've heard of that, but not sure I understand it...
