Up to platoon strength now with artillery and MG supports as well. Just got some Austria-Hungarians now so I may take a break and start on those.

Interesting, from which manufacturer do you have the Austrians?

Thanks for the information.
That's cool, those of Paul Hicks are the best Austrians for me.
Find the choice between the normal infantry and the Tyrolean Landsturm super.
Look forward to more pictures.

Great progress.  What rules set are you going to use ?

Bolt Action for now. If the armies get bigger I would like to try brigade level games with say 20 figures to a battalion. Not sure what rules to use for that? If anyone has any ideas?

The Brigade Games Austro-Hungarians are really nice figures. It is just annoying they do a field gun but no crew for it.

The Brigade Games Austro-Hungarians have some nice supporting weapons - good mortar and Schwarzlose machinegun.

I know I have those. I have bought the field gun as well. I am planning to use the mortar crew for the field gun. The range just lacks a field gun crew pack.

That should work.  Shame that Scarab miniatures are much too big.

Those are lovely figures.  I have a pile of them done up as POWs in Bolshevik service.  Didn't know they were by the 'Master' though.

The Landsturm packs in particular have a lot of character - real old Grossvaters.
