This thread will contain my occasional creations and random musings for Near Future/Cyberpunk games.
My own setting will be suitable for either downtown Neo-Tokyo or the Little Tokyo district in a West Coast American city.
To start with, here are some Men In DArk Suits from the MIDAS Cybertech, a mega-company originally set up as a front for the Yakuza to launder money, but now doing rather well in its own right. MIDAS has a number of divisions, involved in many areas of technology sales and development.
Figures are from the Yakuza packs for the Fistful of Kung-Fu game and Foundry's Street Violence range.

Nicely done Dave! 8) Are this for playing on Jim’s table or are you starting your own full game?

Great work, Dave. Feels like Shadowrun for me.

Shadowrun was my original influence for this setting (many years ago), but over the years I've added other influences; such as anime (Akira, etc), Blade Runner (the first film) and Gibson's cyberpunk novels. With plenty of cool resources on the market at the moment (e.g. terrain pieces for Infinity), this seem like a good time to go some serious work for this genre.

That tower looks along the lines of what I want, so I might just have to check them out. Unfortunately most of the MDF stuff I've seen from other manufacturers just looks wrong for what I want. I'm mainly looking along the lines of scratch builds with selected MDF pieces grafted on and blended into the structures. I may come up with a couple of generic tower designs and get someone to laser cut blanks for the walls.

I wanted to experiment with weathering metal buildings so here is my first attempt, an American diner on the edge of the Little Tokyo district. The model is an old Plasticville diner kit, that I managed to snap up on evilBay.

Not decided yet. I'm currently concentrating on figures and terrain to get an overall feel for the look and style of the game. Pulp Alley will certainly feature and I have Fist Full of Kung-Fu, but I'm also looking out for other options.

Nice.

After a long break, I've got the cyberpunk bug again. Look out for updates on this project soon.
To start off, here is a link to a previous thread for the construction of my noodle bar:
