I am gradually painting up my Gripping Beast Late Roman Infantry to act as a SAGA army for my recently finished King Arthur. I need a good source for some shaggy looking light infantry.

Nice figures , the spears look a tad heavy . Would painting them a dark colour tone them down a bit ? I enjoy your blog btw .😊

Thanks for your kind words, the spear thing occurred to me as well. I will try your suggestion with a few of the ones I'm working on now.

I finally finished the infantry, all I have left is the cavalry...https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/04/arthur-and-gang.html (https://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2018/04/arthur-and-gang.html)

A fine looking force , the colour scheme brings it all together. I look forward to your future posts .
