The minis are really nice, but what stands out for me is the excellent terrain!
I'm still hoping to one day build an Infinity board, and those white buildings with green planters and bright advertisements is exactly what I have in mind :)
Please keep it up! 8)

Is that the buildings from Miniature Scenery? I always wanted to use their stuff to make an MC1 table!
Great project! :-* I hope mine gets to that stage one day!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments

Yes they are. I wish they would do a few more designs to fit in with the range though. I probably have enough for a 6’ x 4’ table bit prefer a more dense set up so will likely keep it to 4’ x 4’ for the time being.
It would be nice to add a mono rail or city wall so I can expand a bit into the Cursed Earth.

Wonderful terrain.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. There are some really good MC-1 threads on here that have inspired me. I would love to add a mono rail and some civies to my table layout soon.
Anyway...
A cheeky little battle in Sector 4.
The Order of the carrot. Up to mischief.

I love that Fattie roadblock! :-* What rules are you using to play?
-
Thanks.
The Judge Dredd miniatures game rules that were produced by Mongoose Publishing then they did a Kickstarter Campaign for it some time ago.
The rules have lots of bits I really like. They are fast to play and not overly complicated. They have a campaign system and you can choose skill paths rather than having skill progression more random like in games of Necromunda. It always irked me that you could have someone armed to the teeth with guns end up being better at shooting.
Unfortunately the rules have done really bad bits too. It’s very easy to make gangs that are extremely powerful for what they are. Most experience is gains by killing things or taking them out of action. Not a problem in most gang fights but a little tricky when you’re up against just one really powerful figure like a judge or a lone vigilante.
I’m looking forward to seeing what Warlord Games does with the licence.

Brilliant set up, it's been very well realised.

Very nice work :)

Great stuff, and I enjoyed reading your report on the blog.
-
Great painting. The terrain really captures MC1 too. Could we see some more of the vehicles?
-
Some Cursed Earth action

I finally got around to adding some Civilians to my city terrain. So far I have about 80 done with another 160(ish) to do.
I would really like to add a monorail to my set up but am struggling to find a suitable one. Any suggestions gratefully received.

The civilians work well. I was looking at the Mad Mecha Guy monorail for ages and then discovered he'd closed the shop when I went to order it. The TT Combat one was next on the list. They're mdf kits so you're a little limited with the shape and finish. I've seen some excellent scratch builds on the LAF but unfortunately I don't have the skills of the likes of Mr Oshiro or Andym above!
-
What about a cheap plastic toy train or tram? There’s some good futuristic ones out there. A new paint job and they’d fit right into MC1.
-
So lovely.
-
Great table - inspiring!
-
I really enjoy your blog. You skillfully brought Judge Dredd alive with tremendous effect!
-
Thanks very much folks.
I have added a lot more civilians now. About 4 times as many. I have around 50 that are sitting down that I will need to get some benches to accommodate them.
I managed to find some streetlights that I am hoping will fit in nicely. Just waiting on them to arrive.
