Title: Battle of Lympstone Cross - Devon Wargames Group
Post by: carojon on April 15, 2018, 11:16:00 AM
The recently completed Saxon/Viking collection got its first run out at the DWG club meet yesterday using Dux Bellorum in this imagined action from the Viking incursions of 896 AD inflicted on the South West of England.

If you would like to see how the game played out and thoughts about the rules then follow the link to the club blog.

It was a joy to the eyes to finally see your figures on the table Jon. ( And Mr Steve's figures )

It was nice to see others at the club trying and enjoying Dux Bellorum, i still think that Dux Bellorum are one of the most balanced set of rules for a game which can be played in a few hours.
