Long time without posting! I'm sorry about that. Long story short, low production due to personal issues plus awful photos of the few things I finish...
But back on topic... Here's a couple of pictures of the 54mm winged hussar I took with me all the way from Spain to the Salute painting competition. I was really happy when they announced that I had won the first prize in the historical single figure category! I hope you like him. The pics are a bit overexposed, but alas, I can't do much better with my potato phone...

It's easy to see why you won, just stunning :-*

Very impressive.

Thank you all! It was one of those miniatures that you get stuck on and can't seem to progress, so I'm very glad not only that I finished it, but also that I managed to do a good job with it :) :) :)

Well done. I didn't stay for the announcement of the winners, but I saw it in the cabinet earlier in the day and I thought it deserved to win.

Hahahahahahahahaha!! Believe me, if I had to glue the feathers one by one on another 15 of those dudes, I'd go absolutely bonkers!!! lol lol lol lol lol lol

Percal, there is a VERY serious problem with your work!
To wit:
I haven't seen enough of it. More, sir, more. Astounding work.

Beautifully done.

A remarkable work of art! You can hear the horse neigh and the feathers moving by the wind! :-*
