Found this on the internet some sort of napoleonic pikeman? Can any one help me by telling me what their proper name is and country?
-
Looks like a Steampunk Polish Vs Russian idea.
-
check out Jakub Rozalski the artist
I think it was Poland 1836 or something
fictional of course
-
Cool picture 3 Fingers and thanks for the artist name शेर खान!
-
If I'm not mistaken that's the artist for the board game Scythe, which is set in a world of steampunk mechs and flying ships.
I really like his style.

Thanks everyone ,yes Jakub work is very inspirational big mechs striding across fields followed by charging cavalry,
When I posted I was dishing up kids evening meal but through the power of google I came up with the conclusion that they were a kind of mash up between Russian militia and polish Landwehr ? And it’s really a halberd than a pike I suppose?
Edit to add this is where I found the pic

your picture is tagged "january 1863", related to the Polish January Uprising (1863 - 1864) against the Russian Empire
Rozalsky likes to re-imagine the Polish History in an alternative way, somehow gigantic warbots are always involved...

Thankyou ,that was more art work that I did not know about . :)

Here are some pictures of various Polish uprisings of the early-to-mid-19th century, showing scythe-armed men
