Mixed feelings. Read all about it.
I have gifted myself a big Kickstarter each year for the last few years. After Conan: The Boardgame and Zombicide Black Plague in 2017 this turned out to be Mythic Battles: Pantheon. Made by the same company as Conan and born from a cooperation between Monolith and Mythic Games this game looked especially promising. Last January I received it and could finally start painting and playing!

The Theme
The game is based on the Greek Myths and starts right after a raging war between the Titans (recently freed by a jealous Hera) and the Gods. Monsters and Heroes have participated on both sides and the war tore down Mount Olympus and ravaged the Earth.

Thanks for this review :) as a "more modeller than gamer" I particularly like the painted models ;)
I joined this KS for the minis only, as Greek mythology is one of my if not the topmost theme in my miniature hobby :)
Most of the big guys like gods and titans I really like in design and quality, the monsters I think have a mixed performance, where the poses of heroes and troops are mostly too flat for my liking.
So the first minis meeting my brushwork will be the titans :)

Good review, I've only played it once (a friends copy) and enjoyed it but I can't say I'm that fussed about playing it again. The models are brilliant in the main and I did enjoy the dice rolling mechanic which was pretty unusual but worked well.

I got some of the models for OGAM and they are much better than the blood rage ones I bought.
