The war rages on in West Wales, as Royalist forces advance on the city of St David's: http://www.jemimafawr.co.uk/2018/05/11/a-very-british-civil-war-in-pembrokeshire-the-battle-of-pelcomb-cross/

Some very atmospheric shots, there. I especially like the composite one with hills in the background.

Always good to see a spot of Morris, too, I don't care what anybody says. :)

Cheers chaps!  ;)

Though Morris is an abomination and was officially classed as a war crime during the VBCW.  Even today, in more tolerant times, a Morris side is required by law to give a long, drawn-out chord on the accordion before perpetrating Morris, in order to give fair warning to innocent bystanders to reach a safe distance.

...  to give a long, drawn-out chord on the accordion ...

?

Was there ever a time when they did not do that?

There was once... Before the advent of the Hague and Geneva Conventions and severe penalties for infringement.  The world was truly a terrifying place.
