Title: Cold War Miniatures - Princes of the Universe
Post by: JollyBob on May 15, 2018, 10:37:36 AM
Cold War miniatures, purveyor of excellent zombies and the last remaining stock of official Stargate minis, recently ran a Kickstarter to put this range into production:

Some really nice resin cast 28/32mm Hawkmen with a choice of natural wings or jetpacks, retro spacemen, jet cycles and rocketeers. I think they may have had some exposure on here while the KS was running, but I don't recall seeing this little beauty before:

Sorry, don't seem to be able to link the pics as they have a weird zoom function on them...

Anyway, a Print-Your-Own Flash Gordon style rocket ship! £5 for the file, then if you are one of those progressive types with your own 3D printer you can resize it to your own needs and whack out as many copies as you like!

I like that it has an accessible interior and choice of open and closed doors, so it doesn't have to be just a terrain piece.

Anybody any idea how much it would cost to actually print one of these in 28/32mm? Is this as good a deal as it seems?

Apologies if this has already been discussed, happy for Mods to move delete or merge threads if I have been a (space)chimp!

Hadn't seen that range before. That Rocket Cycle thing looks interesting. Wonder how easy removing the hawk head at the front would be?
