Title: Paul Baker's Somali Army for DitDC
Post by: nicknorthstar on May 15, 2018, 02:20:47 PM
We've just uploaded this article to our North Star magazine. It features the Somali army put together by gamer Paul Baker for our rules Death in the Dark Continent. Photographed by Kev Dallimore. The figures are Copplestone Castings.

Excellent article.
Paul had a very well laid out plan of what he want to do.
Thanks for sharing.

Good to see these guys getting some love. We don't see them very often. Very nice sculpts, as all Mark's are. A little hefty, perhaps, for your average Somali. That's the only criticism I would make. You could probably make about four Mo Farahs out of each of em!  :)

Once the LPL is done, I really must paint some more of mine, to make them into a viable skirmish game force.

I like the method of doing the white robes. I have printed off the article to keep for future reference.

Great painting, especially on the whites.
