Cool looking game.
The terrain and figures go together very well.

I agree with Jeffrey: the title alone makes this topic memorable.  :D But then I love those ravines and the whole look of the thing! Really stunning work.

FofL was made for games like this, in my 'umble opinion. Especially in 'Big Boys' scale you can really get to identify with your little men as you bring them to life with a well turned card.
We did a similar type of game with the rescue of Gunga Din from the Mad Mullah's village as the objective. it ended badly... soon as Himself started blowing his bugle to let Harry and his gallant lads know where he was he got slotted. Seeing as how a real bugle had somehow been snuck into the house, and Herself, in the next room, was startled from her knitting when it started squawking. it's a good job poor old Gunga got his quietus as swiftly as he did!
That table looks a treasure to be able to march and fight over, and the Airfix desert outpost brings back many a childhood memory.

Thanks Guys...

most of the hardwork ie organising, bringing the figures and running the game was done by my friend Alastair - his account is on his blog here
