In archaeology X never, ever marks the spot!  lol lol lol

Two very very good entries. It’s really difficult to decide.

I think this is your best one so far, Dr. M. The skin, the fur on the wolves, the fur on the shield, the straw hats, the Japanese armour, the cherry blossom. Absolute perfection. Well, except for the slotta bases. Even though I was a teen in the 80s and grew up on 40K, I'm not so keen on slotta bases.  lol  ;)

And speaking of 40K and slotta bases, a delightful scene below, too. I guess that's what "Time Team" looks like in the 41st Millennium. I wonder which is Tony and which is Phil?

Thanks all, I think this is the last of the Olley wolf riders I started way back in my first LPL. I have a few orcs left though  o_o

Well, except for the slotta bases. Even though I was a teen in the 80s and grew up on 40K, I'm not so keen on slotta bases.  lol  ;)

I have mixed feelings about them... my collection has a ridiculous number of base types depending on what I thought was best at the time. Now I just put them on what they came with more or less and don't obsess over it :) (Except for round lipped slottas, those are the devil's work ; )

That's a really cool scene AWu, lots of great detail, unique characters, and the setting is very interesting. I'm intrigued by the cable running around the perimeter. I bet you're fun to game with, that looks like the type of game I'd want to play.

Thanks Dr. One guy is placing lamps there - and the cable is going to the lightning panel some characters from previous round are trying to  start up :)

I went for for most ambitious so far and characterful scene here :)
Although I couldn't compete with your pure excellence.

These are two really great collections of miniatures and evocative scenes.  While I vacilated between the two, in the end I went for Dr. Mathias's entry because his miniatures look more at home in their element.

Speaking of being at home in their element, I'm really digging how well the tech bases are melding with the groundwork, aWu :)
