Title: WAT Western Desert Pics
Post by: thejammedgatling on June 07, 2018, 04:22:21 AM
Had a game of What a Tanker at NWS club last week. It was a participation game to explore the game with newcomers so we ended up with 6 tanks in all. It was a good excuse to play on my larger desert mat I'd made (a 9x5.5 ft), with some of the desert scatter terrain (not actually made for this mat but for a set I did for another one, but worked ok). As it was my first game and the players hadn't communicated too well (!) beforehand the allies were pretty overpowered with 2 Lee's and a Matilda 2 against a Panzer 2, Italian 13/40 and a Stug. But it was a learning game and all about fun and beer in equal measure.

No commentary so feel free to imagine the swirling desert sands and scream of shells bouncing off armour in your heads.

Lovely.   Scale?   The last Lee looks Hasegawa-ish so 1/72?
