Title: Meat Hating Robot Pirates
Post by: ZeroTwentythree on June 12, 2018, 05:43:24 AM: This is a slow burning project of mine. I loved Rogue Trader and 2nd ed. 40k. I also loved Necromunda. And Future Wars. And a handful of other sci-fi games. But I haven't done any sci-fi gaming in a long time, and have been itching to do something.

Combine that with a bit of "They're Made Out of Meat (http://www.terrybisson.com/page6/page6.html)"...

And some robocentric anthems (https://missile-command.bandcamp.com/track/brand-new-day)...

...and the Meat Hating Robot Pirates are born. Or, rather, assembled from escapees and scrap from the meat-worlds. I'm starting off easy, prepping some stock minis that have the oldschool miniatures vibe that I like...

Eventually I'd like to move on to some involved kitbashing. I'll post some more on the concepts & ideas as I go.

Good idea you have here. I look forward to seeing how this one progresses.

My only suggestion would be to have some small detail that unites them as a group, rather than being completely random.

Thanks. That's sort of what I need to sort out before I really dive in with the paint.
