Looking forward to it :)

Looking great so far. ;D

Oh yes I want to see where this is going!
-
thank you guys for your comments :D
here is the continuation: usually I never use blue to represent the water, but there it has the advantage to offer a strong contrast, the blue there is nothing better to give depth and then I like it ::)

o_o Too much blue I think. Maybe purple would be better as it's more of a reflection of the Martin sky?

man of little faith, you should know that the French have an answer to everything lol lol... it is not the reflection of the sky but a water loaded with minerals and then I like the blue :D

Perhaps, though THAT level of mineral content suggests maybe a skeleton or a dozen lying around... ;)
However, definitely still early days, and if you want to suggest it actually has magic-like powers of healing and restoration, we'll not say nay!

Well yes since the time that I was waiting for them, I curse British and French postmen, not knowing which one to curse >:( lol lol
I chose a simple and fast painting scheme and I hope that it is suitable :D

Very nice, the waterfall effect like others have said is good, may need to borrow it myself!
-
Excellent, I like the little fishes/creatures swimming around. ;D

1) From what I hear, Customs on both sides can be added to the cursing....
2) Looks decidedly suitable to ME!
Also, upon seeing the beasties in the pool, all thought of dangerous qualities disappeared. Until I remembered 'extremophiles', of course. lol
For all the teasing, only one emoticon remains apropos. :-*

I have to agree, that looks lovely, excellent work there duhamel.
Now I have in mind a Martian life-form that spawns in pools of mineralised water, then as the young reach adulthood they leave and become great flying skate/ray things. Perhaps the mineral in the pool is even Cavorite or something else that provides lift - hence the pool being an important resource that everyone is trying to find and control? Maybe that's just me...

Blue water on Mars because of minerals? Eminently believable. Here in North America, mountain lake water is often aqua colored due to suspended rock dust.

Wonderful terrain piece. Love the little Martian sting rays in that glorious blue water.
