Title: Advise Sought

Some years ago, somebody pointed me to a range of metal models that would go nicely alongside the old metal Citadel Bretonnians by the Perrys, size- and stylewise.

I have totally forgotten the name of the manufacturer, so if someone could point me to ranges that could be the one I'm talking about, it would be nice.

I have just (too expensively) bought some Bretonnian archers to go along with the eight ones I have had for ages, so I can now actually form a unit, and if I could add some not-too-expensive units to it over time, they might actually grow into a knight's retinue or small army...

I am pretty sure it was not Foundry, but a lot of those would probably fit the bill (archers look fine).

It is the old metal Bretonnians I have, so the newer plastics are not to be of any concern (although I also have some of the one-piece plastic archers).

Did Black Tree have a now discontinued range?

I was going to suggest these. I has some of the spearmen a while back and IIRC fitted exactly with the Citadel Brets.  Nice models as well, the old Harlequin range aren't they? Nicer than the photos make them look.

I actually think those Black Tree minis were the ones - I just did not think of checking the fantasy range  ::)

Most of or all the Foundry ones were also sculpted by the Perrys, and some of them may even have been part of the original Bretonnian range, so I shall keep them in mind, too!
