Title: Late 14th century Germans and Teutonic Knights released (commercial)
Post by: Khurasan Miniatures on June 28, 2018, 02:37:16 PM
We are very pleased to release our first major expansion of our late 14th century European range, Germans and Teutonic Knights.  These have been made to capture the unique appearance of the armours and clothing worn by troops who adopted these fashions, which included the Poles and Bohemians, as well as the Hungarians and Serbs and others in Southeastern Europe who often wore German as well as Italian armour.  The feudal troops of the Ordensstaat would have worn German styles as well.  We've also released models for the Brethren of the Order, in jupons but using the Lithuanian pavise shield.  Teutonic, Polish, Lithuanian and Hungarian infantry and lighter cavalry models have been made and will follow these models up in due course.

Available now (they're at the bottom of the page):

There's seven new codes available, and each man-at-arms code has four horse choices.  Here's just one sample, Teutonic brethren with lance up on caparisoned horses:

They’re basically like AB figures napoleonics in size. I think many manufacturers are biggifying their 15s in line with that. Testudo did it with their TYW and Marian ranges. It’s amazing how much more detail can fit on a figurine with just a mm or two.
