For an educational project I'd like to make my students paint (and possibly cast) some figures. For various reasons, I was thinking about a nativity set. Point is, I have a hard time finding ready to use mold sets. The only ready to use mold I have found is this kind:
https://www.amazon.it/Crea-semplice-statuine-presepe-stampi/dp/B000VPIIUS/
I've got a couple for test but the extraction of the model (I'm going to use plaster) is tricky and can easily end with a broken model (I also have already torn apart one of the molds). And I am should be the one with experience. Pretty sure my class will make a mess.
So may question is: there is any place where I can buy reay to use two-parts molds?
Something like these would be great: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12-Pcs-Chess-King-Queen-Knight-Shape-Fondant-Cake-Chocolate-Mold-Baking-Mould/32775646489.html
I could get a nativity set and make my own molds, of course, but:
1) I would gladly avoid the hassle, but more important:
2) the final models, painted by my stoudens, could end on a xmas charity sale, so I would like to avoid any (albeit unlikely) legal issue

Think Prince August from Ireland makes such moulds. Not sure if they're for plaster (most likely for metal casting) though but might be worth checking.

Supercast used to have a mould set for nativity scenes.
I think they have been taken over by Europacraft:

I have used some of their moulds in the past, mainly the chess-set moulds, but they were very good. Reasonably sturdy and produced good results.

Thanks, but these are exactly the kind of mold I was trying to avoid ^^
