Those really are different. The first one is all about nice bright colors and the second one is really muted and almost gritty. So a great contrast between them. Both entries also present a unity in a group which looks great in a photo. I can't choose which one wins for me...

Having viewed these and so many other entries I'm glad I didn't enter the LPL - The quality is tres excellente.  I have to say though that from a photographic perspective, I like the choice of the orange backdrop as it sets the models off nicely.

As to the Germans they're making me feel guilty about the half painted Americans I have loafing around.
