For the Italian Wars project I’m attempting to build a centre piece to represent a small Palazzo for my Borgias.

That's a nice start. Surprisingly the various manufacturor's kits seem to blend in well. With the appropriate paintjob any minor discrepancies will fade away completely.
Looking forward to seeing more of it.

Yes , it’s always a compromise between footprint on the table and the aesthetics of the buildings . In this case I think you,ve got it just right. Keep posting your progress with this one , please . 🏰

I expect that will quite impressive when finished. However! You are going to need an impressive Lucretia "McEvil" Borgia to do it justice! ;)
-
That looks excellent, I’ll be following with interest.
-
Great work! Looks perfect!
-
I’m really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Coming up a treat David.

Some progress this week. The roof tiles have been base coated with Foundry Madder Red and the walls have had a basecoat of Golden Brown, a heavy drybrush of Fawn and a lighter drybrushing with Antique White ~

Lovely stuff!
It looks like the perfect sized building for a game too, I can imagine a scenario based around storming it, ladders over the walls, etc.... Very practical.

Fantastic! I really like how you've integrated all the different kits. The end result looks very impressive and gives the Impression of a building that has evolved over time. Really impressive.
Warbases are a stellar company.
-
That is a beautiful structure and will make a fine centerpiece or Hqs building on your table.
-
That's a belter.

Congratz! This looks really great, well done!!!
