"'Your blood is bad' means you have Syphilis" :o
Good to see another addition to the stuff.
-
@Bako Ikaporamee

I like the Shooting Maniac flaw Grimm. I'll have to add that to the list of Flaws. Feels right for some characters who are gun-happy.
Thanks for sharing such a great report. Can't wait to see what happens next!
-
Excelent report, miniatures and scenery, as always! :-* :-*
Makes me want to do my Spanish Innsmouth game...
-
Nice Youtube find! Did Tommy survive that curb-stomp? Ouch.
-
WOW :-* :-* :-*
I can't say much more than that. :o
-
Terrific report of a great looking game.
My buddies came up with a nickname for me when we used to have LAN parties, I was going to use it as a character flaw for .45 one of these days...
"Bullet Hose"
Ryan
-
Amazing scenery Grimm :-*
-
Fantastic! You really are the best in presenting your games. The tabletop really enhances the story and makes it look so cool and real.
Cthulhu would be proud!
-
Grimm, I've seen the game at least partly live, but this kind of storytelling in comic panels is so exciting ...
Lovely!
:-*
-
thanks Guys
I do my best to finish part two for the weekend :)
grimm
-
Great! Need more...
-
You know, for those of you who have not met our Grimm IRL I can tell you there is something fishy about the man himself. He is bald, slightly starry eyed, and looks like he's been shot with a blunderbuss load of hardware in the kisser. Suspicious, is the least I'd say.
-
Suspicious, is the least I'd say.
you are so right my friend >:(
BTW ``fishy`` is not an affront for german Guy from Hamburg but if you call me
`´ Weißwurst``(Bavarian veal sausage) I kick your ass ;)
cheers grimm
-
Weißwurst!
(runs away and hides until Grimm has left)
-
Excellent report, Grimm, really interesting and amusing too. Like all the vehicles! ;)
-
Fabulous ! I really enjoyed reading all this, Grim (And as Plynkes seems to vave deserted the battle report terrain, I'm glad you keep the flame alive !)
meow,
Matt
-
Excellent battle report, and the board is fantastic! In particular, there's a street shot near the end, when Sargeant is running away, that's absolutely amazing. The lighting catches the rubbish scattered on the sidewalk, and the whole thing could be a photograph of a real town somewhere. Spectacular!
-
Cracking stuff Grimm old chap.
-
TANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH !! :-*

Awesome as usual Grimm. I think you may have to "swap" the dice of a certain player. Maybe you should make him use a d6 instead. We can't have him killing off all the Deep Ones. lol
-
Brilliant stuff! I've always loved the Call of Cthulhu RPG, and you really capture the spirit of the game with these scenarios. Also, it's always nice to see a character break out the Tommy Gun and show those bad guys what's what. "Take that you fishy bastard!" - Priceless. Absolutely fantastic stuff.
-
Very enjoyable ! Your wonderful painted minis and scenery, The Cthulhu mood, and the Comic effect : all match perfectly !
I'm eager to read the following.
meow,
Matt
-
I can not help but think that Lovecraft himself would find this retelling of his classic tale exciting. Admittedly, there is a lot more action than you normally see in his work, but the look and feel of Innsmouth certainly has been captured.
*salute*
Ryan
-
Fantastic stuff!
Brian
-
I agree. Though I've played parts of the kampaign before, it still makes for a brilliant story. I love the way you use event cards. Very inspiring.
I also enjoy the way you use the rules as a means to the end and not as the ultimate law. That is the stuff a great gamemaster handles things. All hail the great Grimm...
-
My favorite part was the flashlight "TONK".
Great stuff, beautiful scenery, amazing layout.
Chick
-
Superb. I love it :-* ;D
Can we play it at GLAM10?
-
Yes if you wish :) but cap. Blood will also play my China Town .
But I am sure can do both :D
Grimm

Grimm
China town is fine with me :)
-
Excellent stuff as usual Grimm. :-*
Really like the whole atmosphere of your church yard. The level of detail you put into you tables always amazes me. :o
Looks like a fun game.
-
I can not help but think that Lovecraft himself would find this retelling of his classic tale exciting.
He wasn't too interested in games though, so.
Very beautiful table, and excellent addition as always, Grimm.

and the story continues!
thanks Grimm! :)
-
AWESOME on so many levels!!! :o :o :o :o
-
Truly wonderful !
HOW in the world did you paint the fish-in-boxes to look so REAL ??
Chick
-
Yes! More goodness from our Heroine! Go Marbles :-*
-
And still we can say: Hamburg is the place... Was a wonderful game with grimm. Can't expect his new one for 2010. I know it yet....
-
I can't decide if the photos and description of the game are better than the scenery, both are terrific. I can't wait to see the conclusion!
Ryan
-
Amazing! These must be fantastic games to play - it takes a lot to produce games like that. Well done again!
-
Mrs Marbles RULES lol
Brilliant game, board and figures :o :-* :-*
I always like the way you use the event cards. Must make for a very exciting game :-*
-
Bravooooo!!!!!!!!!!
:-*
-
I don't know how I didn't stumble onto this thread earlier :'(
Brilliant stuff! I especially like the HPL gravestone a few panels back; nice tribute.
Can't wait to see more :-*
-
Thank you all very much for the nice words :D
BTW Marbles is a very hard women but the interesting thing is that her Grad 3 profile was not a fighter profile !! it was a think of the clever players.
Grimm
-
the HPL gravestone is from Uncle Mike´s Strange Aeons Game :)
Grimm
-
Vary sweet thread! I know that the hotal you wre makeing would eventaly come to light agine.

Awesomifying pulp action. Excellent work Grimm
-
The only way a good pulp game can end.. with a HUGE explosion!!!
Thanks for sharing that Grimm. It was one of the best!
-
And I still think, that my plan was right like the stars...
-
!!FHTAGN!! lol
Wonderful work and reports.
-
*Applause!*
Fantastic ending...really heroic and over the top. Once again Grimm doesn't dissapoint and shows one heck of a story.
-
Awesome, very awesome. This report alone has got me interested in both .45 Adventures (another game system?!), and Cthulhu gaming. I'm a long time CoC roleplayer, but this shows the potential of mini-based roleplay lite!
Love it!
-
Best comic book I have read in ten years!
Dare we chant encore encore?
Ryan
-
Aye, good job on this, Grimm. Excellent campaign. Who makes that daemonic book-reader?
-
I had the chance to take part on that campaign and it was a delight to play it.
Thanks Grimm
B
-
Oh, the suspense! :)
-
Great stuff Grimm. :-* :-*
Mrs Marbles and her torch save the world (with a little help from some dynamite lol)
-
Brilliant, as always... :o :-*
Makes me try harder for may next campaign that also is "Cthulhueresque" (but not deep ones...).
Really beautiful and the scenarios looked very fun!
-
Clap, clap, clap (standing ovations ad infinitum)...
-
:-* :-* :-* :-* Thank you all :)
-
IA IA IA!!! :-*
that was brilliant Grimm! it was great fun reading these thrilling adventures and I deeply hope, no, I COMMAND YOU to start another campaign! ;)
thanks again! :)
-
Excellent Grimm. I've been a silent reader up o now; however your final post coincided with me reading The Shadow over Innsmouth, and I though I'd post.
You've captured the atmosphere of Innsmouth particularly well, I love the detail of your boards. It was also nice to see the heroes (and heroine?) triumph over adversity regardless of the odds! We can certainly all sleep safer knowing that our streets are patrolled by a sweet old lady with a particularly vicious flashlight! lol
Cheers
Andrew

Finally got around to reading this from beginning to end and just wanted to add comment that it's fabulous in execution and presentation. Very much inspired me to possibly use .45 Adventures for the WWII Cthulhu game I'm cooking up to run somewhere in the misty unforseen future.
Excellent job, you very much deserve some attention for this one.
-
Thanks a lot good to here that I give people a good insertion .
I will do a new Pulpy campaingn these year maby tarzan or G.Withe North stuff.
cheers Grimm
-
I'd love to see how you do an arctic board Grimm. If that helps you decide. :)
-
arctic board will be my project for the next Tactica ,I think .
Not so big like Innsmouth but also good.
I think I will do a pulp version of the ``The Thing`` but I am not sure jet.
AC57 is also on my mind and Alien vs Pedator too.
What do you think ?
-
What about a follow-up of your excellent LPL-entry featuring a prehistoric animal hunt in the perpetual ice?
Who cares, it will be awesome in either case. :D
-
Abandoned whaling station? Looking forward to that table!
Also, you didn't answer my question. Who makes that daemonic book-reader, my good friend?
-
oh sorry
the cultist is from Artizan ,the deepone is from RAFM .
Grim
-
Ah, thank you. I knew of the cultist, just not the deep one.
-
Just looking through my favourites on explorer and came across this again so thought I'd bimp it for some of the newer members to have a look (and for some of the older members to have another look!)
-
Hey, thanks for upping this one! It's the coolest piece of Cthulhu gaming I've ever seen!
A.
-
Thanks MUCHO, thebinmann! That wasn't so much a Battle Report; it was more like a Cinematic Experience. WELL & IMAGINATIVELY DONE, Grimm!
-
Not to be the guy without his glasses on properly but what system is this?
-
It must be .45 Adventure Rules by Rattrap Productions !
-
thanks a lot guys and yes it is 45 adventures :)
cheers Grimm
-
Truly brillant! A couple of my favorite moments:
"You broke first and second oath of Dagon!" - lol, fight club ;)
When the dog is smashed a good resounding squishy sound that could only be described as, "GORE!" lol
The chain hooks in the fishing warehouse was a subtle touch of gruesomeness, it really had my imagination going. I can't speak from personal creative experiene, but as a fan and an avid reader of LAF, I have to see the little details of all your guys' (and ladies') boards speak the loudest! :o
I also liked how you show cased your players faces in their most devious moments. I don't know what the consenus is for most of the talented players on LAF (your thoughts?) but I notice a lot of people, and while perhaps indirectly, practice a certain degree of anomnity while posting pictures of their games. I feel the opposite, I love to see the fun being had!
Also once again a shout out to Uncle Mike's fishmen, who are superb and take the cake for my favorite deep one sculpts.
As for your future endevours, I too wanted to recreate the "The Thing", but by all means I stand down to a true master! There was a post on the CoC forum a while back showcasing IRL pictures of abandoned stations and destittue boats in Anatratic, since then I've just been waiting to see somebody work that out- because everything is better miniaturized!
All in all, go Grimm- its your birthday.
-
thanks fanfavorite
i also thinking about doing a "The Thing" game ;)
-
Just looking through my favourites on explorer and came across this again so thought I'd bimp it for some of the newer members to have a look (and for some of the older members to have another look!)
