Title: From the Green Mountains of Vermont
Post by: TaltosVT on September 04, 2018, 04:10:28 PM
New to the forum, so here's a quick introduction.

I'm a native Vermonter raised in the hills of Vermont, now living in the valleys (sorta) of Vermont.  While I've been a gamer all my life, I just recently started seriously collecting and painting figures to get into AWI skirmish gaming.  I'm also an AWI reenactor, a member of Seth Warner's Extra-Continental Regiment (http://warnersregiment.org/) (a.k.a. The Green Mountain Boys).  As an amateur historian and genealogist, my focus tends to be on history and historical gaming.  While my main area of study is the American Revolution, I also find World War II and the American Civil War interesting periods.

I'm seriously out of practice with painting, but I'm happy to be getting back into it.

I've also just recently started a blog dedicated to wargaming, reenacting, and history: Lost in The Grants (https://lostinthegrants.blogspot.com/)

Nice to have you join us. I am a former Vermonter but have not lived there for almost 40 years  :o Now I reside in Pennsylvania.

Very nice Warner regiment and thrilling to be a reenactor, I'm envious!
Welcome aboard!
