Title: Pictures of Samurai armor from Tokyo Samurai and the National museum
Post by: Anatoli on September 08, 2018, 11:41:12 AM
For those interested, and perhaps wanting some inspiration for their Samurai collecting, painting and games I posted over 90 pictures of Samurai stuff from the Tokyo Samurai and National museum on my blog today.

I also scribbled down a few pieces of trivia picked up at the Samurai museum. It was very interesting to see the armors up close and how they were put together.

Check my blog for the rest of the pictures:

Thanks for sharing photos.
Even in national museum they couldn't escape the mess: on third photo posted here, the leg armor is turned backwards. ;D
On other photos in your blog all ok.

Lovely! I'd love to know exactly how they bent the metal to take some of those forms, and the steel gauge, but I think that's a blacksmith's secret of sorts
