We are planning to do East Coast Africa WW1 as a group project, so thanks very much for posting.
I am only sorry over my complete lack of German.

Thanks for sharing that!

I've been playing East Africa for a while now - it's a lot of fun with a variety of interesting troops. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Any campaign where:-
Giraffes bring down your telephone lines;
Troops retreat (before even seeing the enemy) due to wasps and
crossing a river might involve crocodiles.
gets my vote.

Look out. Used technology (and the kids) to tell me how to show English sub titles.
Thanks for pointing this one out. Really enjoyed watching it.
-
flatpack, you must share how you got the English subtitles - or be beset my wasps. ;)
-
Watched it on an iPad.
Ran youtube and there was a small icon bottom right corner that looked like a pad with writing on it.
Pressed this and Subtitle option was there.
Then just selected English from the list.

I wouldn’t get too excited by the English sub-titles; they’re virtually incomprehensible🙁

I found they just gave you a little more flavour of the story.

Agree; better than nothing for a non-German speaker but only one step away from gobbledygook 🤨

Thanks for posting Flatpack. I may be 'none the wiser', but I am 'Better informed'.
You are right it does help give an idea of what is going on. I must get working on my British infantry, especially the 'radio mule'. How else can I keep in touch when German trained
Giraffes keep bringing down my telephone wires?
-
Oh no.
My German Imperial Giraffes Corps has been discovered. lol
