Managed to blitz through these after getting a great deal from armchairgeneral.
Mostly painted in pike grey with a few in field grey so they would be around 1915/6
-
Really good stuff, like the uniform color. The pike gray is very well :o. Are you planning more ? Too bad that you can order the miniatures only in the United States.
Please show us more of it.

Cheers, I would like to do more but I cannot see that happening due to the expensive shipping (I also like their Japanese and Chinese ranges) the pike grey is a mix of Vallejo field blue and miniature paints (gamescraft ?) Blue grey.

Wow, great paint job. Put mine to shame.
-
Come on, there must be a company in the UK that would be willing to sell such fantastic figures ?
-
Northstar?
-
Very nice indeed. The pike gray is hard to duplicate. What is your secret ? ( I've heard some folks use Luftwaffe Blue).

the pike grey is a mix of Vallejo field blue as a base then Vallejo field blue and miniature paints (gamescraft ?) Blue grey mixed as highlights.

Those turned out really nice. Not just that you managed to get a great uniform color, but the quality of the painting in general.

:)

Thanks 88D.

Finally started on the extra figures armchair general sent me.
Command section and machine guns in both field grey and green, mortars will be done at some future date and the the converted officer was started by armchair general and finished by myself(added medal and moved the arm down)

Excellent work! :-* 8) :-*

Lovely! :-* :-* :-*

They look excellent. Great to see them painted :)
-
These are amazing paint jobs. I had forgotten all about this range I did for Brigade Games.
-
As the previous owner I can vouch them being excellent sculpts. It was just a shame the range stopped short at artillery crew. The mountain howitzer in the range is a very nice model but no crew for it ???
-
I do enjoy a well painted Austro Hungarians - well done bud
-

Our only ( ? ) hope is North Star ...

In fact, for me the best Austrians for the ww1.
A shame not to buy them in England or any other European country.
-
Great work,love the sculpts.

Gorgeous!

Are the figures compatible in size with the WW 1 figures you did for Footsore / Musketeer and Empress, Paul?

Yes they are
-
Yes they are
thanks!

Incredible paint work. Can't believe I've never heard of Miniature Paints after all these years dabbling with shiny bits of metal.
-
Wow, those guys look great! :D
-
Northstar?
What he said.
-
Thanks for the compliments, finally finished the mortar which for some reason I did not get on with like the others. Luckily there was a spare gunner which allowed me to convert him into the guy pulling the firing cord which the lanz used to shot.

Looks great.

I really want to add some to my collection and yours are great inspiration!

That is a beautiful little vignette.
