Title: Where have the HLBS Guns gone?
Post by: Over Open Sights on March 09, 2019, 01:17:46 PM
I know that Empress Miniatures have bought the range of resin vehicles that were produced by HLBS BUT where have the BIG GUNS GONE? Also, the really useful range of deck guns for boats that they produced has also disappered just at the time that I need some.

I noticed a couple of weeks ago that they had a new site HLBS Redux - no naval weapons  or craft and no artillery only mention is of 1/48 products.

https://www.hlbs-redux.co.uk/#//type.php?id=89

Was hoping they would appear on the site.

I heard Empress has bought the 1/55 range of vehicles formerly from Copplestone/North Star, but I can’t find them on their website?

I emailed both Empress and HLBS over the ' WWI range a few weeks ago. HLBS said they sold everything to Empress. Empress advised that whilst not all the products are on their store now, they'll be updating the catalogue with the new website. Even then, if the particular product isn't on their website, if HLBS sold them the tooling, they may be able to do custom orders.

Hi
I emailed Richard at HLBS, regarding the WW1 and Naval Artillery. They are still available
He emailed the current price list as a word doc. He does plan to add them to the new site
