Hey all just posting pics of a D.R. warband I'm working on. They are house Brewcaster of Greenhill.
I'm a big fan of perry kits, frostgrave and every other kit that fits, so any chance I get I'm mixing and matching to make some fantasy figures that are abit more realistic.
A unit of archers.

A unit of men at arms.

Next up I'm adding a Sorceress for some magic.

It's basically the same as my game of thrones project build wise but I can go nuts and do whatever I want and push historical kits to their limits as fantasy kits so I'm interested to see what I can cook up.
Cheers for reading more to come.

Great work so far.
Kitbashing was never so much fun (and easy) as these days, with so many great miniatures being available in plastic.
And then the inevitable 'where's that mini from' question: the sorceress?

Nicely done :)

Cheers guys. Np Daeothar she's from reaper

These are looking good! Some of those archers are real characters!

Thanks blacksoilbill! More to come... Here's some WIP now.
In times of war the Lords and knights loyal to Castle Green Hill are required by law to send any able bodied men to House Brewcaster's cause. As such the quantity and quality of men sent varies between their sender's, some are lords capable of sending hundreds of men while some may be knight by title but can barely afford a horse and a few decent men.
This batch of billmen are mainly of the lower quality, poor lowly farmers sent to die by their "betters". Some are little better than thieves conscripted to war. I used a couple of zombie heads from the frostgrave cultist box as some of the poor buggers are riddled with disease and not long for this world anyway.

Thanks Akula. Next up is some magic for house Brewcaster. Couldn't resist painting her as a fire Mage in similar style from Warhammer fantasy, the rockstar fire slingers they are :D.
