Title: 1938 Czech sources
Post by: swiftnick on July 07, 2019, 10:04:05 PM
I was speaking to somebody on another forum a while ago who was building a 1938 Czech force. I mentioned I had some books in the pile and guess what have just found them.
If you are that chap give me a shout!

It's a fun little force that can be used historically to fight Sudeten Nazis and Hungarians and with not too much'what if', invading Germans and Poles. The beauty is that it does double service as Slovaks vs Poles, Hungarians and Russians. The only bits missing are anti-tank guns and heavy machine guns. Emil Horky has a beautiful little, Paul Hicks sculpted, range of Czech troops and a couple of Gendarmes. I've supplemented these with various Warlord, Empress and other conversions. Sudeten Germans are easily made using the Tsuba German Revolution and Eureka's Soviet partisans. Mad Bob supplies a decent LT vz.35 and even Disney has pitched in with a 1/55 Tatra for some local flavour. Must get around to finishing the force, it looks like I will have to scratch build the AT gun and then manufacture some serious bunkers.

Just remembered it was on GWP and I seem to be irretrievably signed out from there.
