I so appreciate the terse humour of the first one and can only say .... ditto (except they're in green or brown).  :D
Nice work guys.

Sterling Moose...where did you get the crazy looking woman with the hair? Great looking figure.
Good luck to you both.

She's a repainted and rebased Heroclix figure.  $0.50 from the Comic store.

Nice paintjob on the skinks Raz, too bad they're unopposed ;) The other entry looks nice as well and I really like the use of the Egyptian models as natives 8)

Great job Sterling! I especially like the colorscheme of the Egyptian Jackalmen (?). The blackness of the skin combined with the white cloth and the bright colors added to it are great. They got my vote. No shame in losing here :)

Nice painting on some ugly sculpts Raz! Jup, I really don't like the old skinks. The painting is nice and crisp. The scenery works well and I can relate with the absence of adventurers or a beasty. The LPL is like a marathon and the ending was very tough. But good to see you managed to paint 5 new miniatures. That is always a good thing!

The second entry shines in originality. Not only did you feature a monster nobody has used, you also used some cool natives. It really makes the shot look like a cool Egyptian pulp story. Great adventurers too (I think I have seen the copplestone adventurer more than ten times now :D)
