Hi All,
I have fond memories of a samurai skirmish boardgame of the 1980s and am trying to track it down. It was beautifully illustrated with nice counters of various protagonists, and each piece when flipped over showed the character dead or wounded. I think it was set in the earlier Heike War. Do any of you know what game this might have been? Thank you for any help!

A good filler game of which I have fond memories. I lent it to a 'friend' & never
got it back. Never got around to replacing it.
played the ninja scenario & managed to kill every sleeping samurai quietly & leave the
board, my poor opponent could do nothing.

I still have it, from memory I think it was the same as Cry Havoc the medieval version.

Yes and also a series of (IMHO naff) fantasy figures which included a giant war Hedgehog!

They also did Siege and Outremer I think.

Fun idea, dreadful system. A peasant had a better chance of killing the knight who was attacking him than the knight of hurting him.
