We've kept quiet about this little project, but I should have photos to show you next week of the plastic Female Wizards for Frostgrave.
Designed by Bobby Jackson, the man who created the Male Wizards, it's a similar styled frame of ladies with loads of head, arm, weapon and equipment variations.
I'll post the first picture here.

Female soldiers and wizard sprue build very nice female wizards (i bought it to built apprentices for many mages I have - I found that mages are easily available but the apprentices are difficult to find)
But I like the idea of the new set!

We don't have a frame picture as it's not been tooled yet. But here's Kev's painted versions. Again, these are just for you guys, could I ask you not to share them before tomorrow when we'll announce them to non-LAFers.

Outstanding! I think this is my favourite kit of all time ever! Not just cause it's cool women stuff, it's just such a lovely set with some many cool little quirky bits - you can tell a lot of thought has gone into it.

Just the other day I was thinking of looking for some figures to do Lirael, Sabriel, Touchstone, and Sammeth... and even Mogget! where can I get some female wizard/necromancer types. Can I find some already with bells? And Charter save me, here they are, perfect.
I will definitely be buying these.

If you're thinking of getting the new book Perilous Dark as well, I'd recommend you buy it now. If you do, it'll be sent as soon as it's out, and if you join in the Nickstarter we'll refund the postage. If you leave it to add to the Nickstarter, you'll have to wait for all the figures to be ready and we'll send the book and figures together. I love the varied arm options. You can even make a wizard that dual-wields bells with this kit! That's not something I would have expected, but I think it's great. I think that the crow will be pretty handy for folks who want to make their own crowmasters out of the plastic kits.

That's an impressive lot of bits and pieces! Makes me want to buy a box of these, another of the female soldiers, and then mix the bits to produce a huge unit of ice-witches where every figure is unique. Not sure what I would do with them afterwards, though.

That is seriously useful and well thought out set of components.
I can see a lot of these shifting for all sorts of settings other than Frostgrave too.

After some thinking, I realised that with all of those open hands they could probably be built up as unarmed civilians, in case somebody needs a bunch for their games.
