We are a good way into the the Germans, we have already made a start on the French and plan to do British and Commonwealth as well.

Pretty much going to cover all of the Western front.

They look very good, quite realistic proportions.
And on the photo the miniatures look bigger.
I'm looking forward to more.

A lovely, clean, well proportioned sculpt. Very nice.

Will you cover the whole 14-18 period?

Thank you for all the kind comments

The plan is to cover the whole of The war from 1914 to 1918  on the Western front.
we have started with the later part 1916-1918 and then we will come back to the earlier part.

That’s the plan we will just have to see how it goes.

We are going to be quite ambitious with lots of different figure poses covering all the major nationalities involved on the western front.

As we are a new company of course it will depend on how well things go, we intend that every pound spent with us will be reinvested back into new designs.
What we have up-to yet, I don’t think people are going to be disappointed!
If you like true scale and accurate proportion figures.
This is the whole reason why we have got into this business we don’t want to sell anything that we wouldn’t buy ourselves.
We are hoping to have our website up and running soon.
Please feel free to ask any questions or give me any advise I would appreciate it.
Thank you all.

That sounds very interesting. I have less than one advice more wishes. Late Frenchmen have often been mentioned here. They are really missing. And perhaps not only the Western Front, but also the Balkans or a side trip to the Eastern Front.
The latter is given too little attention by my standards in the Table Top. But these are only wishes, as I said.
I wish you much success.  :)

Very nice indeed. I take it they’re not intended to mix with the likes of Great War Miniatures, Woodbine etc? Just wondering, as many of us have a fair few of those already.

I don’t think they will be compatible with great war miniatures
They are not as chunky as great war

As for Woodbine I honestly couldn’t tell you.

Title: Re: World War I Germans
Post by: jim100 on October 30, 2019, 10:37:59 AM
I do have plans to Cover the early part of the war, but I need to get the late part finished first It all depends how successful I am with the late war range

I use this for the mud and dirt

https://www.migjimenez.com/en/nature-effects/156-earth.html

I thin it out with a enamel thinner seems to work okay

It is completely dried on the French figure and still a bit wet on the German figure

Hope this helps.

Some of the most beautifully painted and sculpted WW 1 figures I have seen - the proportions of the men, weapons and equipment are spot on, and the various details are wonderful.  I particularly liked the two officers.  Am I correct in thinking they are 28mm in size (i.e. would they be compatible with other 28mm figures) ?

I, like many others would be interested in a time line.

Or longer?

I use mr surface grey primer.

I mostly use acrylic  from a mixture of manufactures I do use enamels and oils but mostly for a wood affect
I start with the face and once I get this right I block out the main colours of the uniform
Then pick out the belts and do the highlights Not much more to it than that if you have a look at the images below I think you’ll get the jist of what it is I’m trying to say

I’ve only just seen these figures - which is a shame in one way as I feel I have missed out a bit - but its great as I am seeing them seen to when they will be released.

My current WWI figures are all 10mm, but I can see a squad or two of these being purchased for skirmish, or even just a diorama.

Insane paint jobs....love the proper proportions and that thye are true 28mm.I wish there was a Same standard of scale for all manufactors .some count from the bottom of the base .Others the tops .Some are 30mm....it gets frustrating, to put armies together .Keep up the good work.

:-* :-* :-* A very nice looking range of figures. Reminds me of Avanpost's style but with a WW1 theme.

So what is your best guest release date for your range? Given there isn't likely to be any wargame shows this year (and probably into next), it will clearly have to be word of mouth that gets your range sold. So do you have a website up and running?

Just thinking out loud.
How about some kind of crowd funding, if money is a problem.
If it is something else, maybe someone on the forum could help.
If you tell me to mind my own business, I understand.

That French machine gun team is brilliant.  You would believe it was in 54mm, not 28mm.

Unfortunately I just cannot get life to go my way at the moment therefore I cannot dedicate the time and effort that is required but you never know in the future I’m trying to stay optimistic about the future but at this present moment in time it’s not going to happen I apologise to everybody

Find a miracle worker for my youngest daughter.
I’m not saying it won’t ever happen but it’s not on my List of priorities at the moment sorry to disappoint.
