Greetings One and All,
A few years back, I started a 1970's CoC game, set in Philadelphia. Reasoning was, after the Depression Era, the 1970's were a pretty grim period, and Philly was a pretty grim town, back then.
Here's a recent AAR from an RPG session.

Great idea. It's really nice to see something a bit different.

Most excellent, thanks for sharing.

Philly isn't exactly a city full of cheer, hope, and optimism even today. Better than most western PA cities, maybe, but still nowhere I'd want to live.
And that's not even allowing for miniature Mythos deities wandering around the joint for the last 50 years or so.

Ooh! Somebody should be kung-fu fighting, but outstanding nonetheless.

Cat,
Oh yes, picked up Live and Die in Hong Kong for next season's Secret Project. 8)

That would be a little bit frightening. :)

Cool stuff, although you need Bobby Clark from The 1970's Flyers. Those Deep ones wouldn't stand a chance!

Not being from Philly, I had to look that reffy up. It gave me an idea of having an Investigator wielding a hockey stick while wearing a #16 Flyer's top.
Thanks for the Broad Street Bullies tip! :)

Sanity check would have to be moderated as most people would assume it was just a bad trip and carry on.

More hits and beats, from those friendly streets... 8)
