Oddly, I thought I had a thread for my 15th Century (and a bit past) stuff, but don't seem to be able to locate it.
Never mind, as I'm redoing lots of things for it and been putting thoughts into what I want out of this particular collection.
Heres the first - HYW English Men at Arms. Keeping these skirmish, possibly for Lion Rampant rules, maybe even for some Ye Olde Weirde Shadow Deep

Thanks! It’s a killer box, I agree. Probably do another unit of pike in the same way, I reckon.
-
Definitely agree, big fan of the Perry Mercenaries box! Nicely done on your pikemen too!
I like the background scenery as well, it's a good looking table!

Thanks very much :) the buildings were made by a friend many years ago, with a couple by me. Think I’ve got about 16-17 of them.

Boshed out a bunch of Men at Arms. Lovely to build, enjoyable to paint. What more?

Hey :)
Those Men at Arms look wonderful! Why do you base some Men at Arms with smaller bases?
And where do you take your flags from? Doing them yourself? :)
Keep up that work! What do you have planned for the future?
-
Great stuff. Very evocative pictures :)

Cheers! Flags are my own, I generally use a bit of tin foil, slap a bit of paint on it, then cock up the gluing so nothing quite lines up....
As for basing, I put some on single bases so I can use for skirmish gaming, whilst the others get multi based for use in bigger set piece battles. Roughly HYW= single based, WOTR (and after) multi based
Next up? HYW archers, some cavalry and probably some French
Great stuff. Very evocative pictures :)
Many thanks, Sir!

Lovely work, a really consistent look to them, and the houses are great as well

Lovely models, these. Paint practically fell onto them.

I think that this is helped by the Perry's ability to produce the most natural looking dynamic poses, It's funny, it's actually hard to make an unnatural pose when glueing the plastics together unless one consciously attempts to do just so.

True true. The notes on building poses properly in the box help with this too, so small things make sense when putting them together

I managed to get about six variations from just the Freebie Salute English Archer, from attacking to various handling the warbow poses.
Some of the poses are on this thread on my La Journee Blog:

That reminds me - I might have that sprue tucked away as it’s the last time I went. Will have to hunt around and see

I've still got a few that I'm jealously guarding for conversions at some point.

Nice work on the archers. Look great in the massed formation :o

Many thanks. I've got these on individual bases, but plenty of massed ranks ones too :)
