Just got my spiral bound SMF 2nd ed. delivered TODAY. Been a fan of Scott's games since I first picked up SS 2nd ed. In my opinion, SS 4th and SMF are the epitome of super hero miniatures rules and are superior to all that I've tried. Any character, any power, any scenario. What's not to love!? :D

Wow! Thanks! No higher praise than this. I am humbled by folks' reaction to SMF--it inspires me to work on variations of it for other genres. ;)

Why yes, get to it...…...

Ok, here's a band of some of my favorites Super Villains. I think my favorite is a street level villain I invented called Tokyo Jimmy and his henchmen, the Downtown Ninjas (not pictured--but imagine the Crazy 8's from Kill Bill). Not only are they a dangerous criminal organization, they are also a musical group!
Tokyo Jimmy—Street Level: Minor powers—Clever, Melee Specialist. Backgrounds—Criminal, Espionage, Performance
The Downtown Ninjas—Street Level Henchmen: Equipment—Firearms, Close combat weapons. Backgrounds—Espionage
Next we have a group led by the infamous Baron Chill, evil ruler and necromancer. His chief lieutenant is the Alien Blaster known as Force. Other members include the Speedster, Tempest and the golden skinned extra-dimensional being known as the Olympian. Sometimes, Baron Chill instead brings a group of his skeleton henchmen.
Baron Chill—Mastermind: Major power—Enhance. Minor powers—Flight, Power Blasts. Backgrounds—Arcane, Monarch
Force—Blaster: Major power—Power Blasts. Minor powers—Force Blast, Force Field. Backgrounds—Alien/Dimensional, Science
Olympian—Wildcard: Minor powers—Density Increase, Melee Specialist, Super-Strength, Tough. Backgrounds—Alien/Dimensional, Athletics
Tempest—Speedster: Major power—Speed. Minor powers—Density Decrease, Reflection. Backgrounds—Athletics, Criminal
Baron Chill’s Skeletons—Henchmen: Minor powers—Created, Legion. Backgrounds—Arcane

Inspiring repaints!
-
Thanks, Scott. Yes, I find the best thing to do with heroclix is chop them, modify them, resculpt them, rebase them, and then repaint them! It seems a lot of other folks on this forum share my enthusiasm. There's a lot of great models on display here. I've just cleared out some space so that I can start working on my "street battle" board for modern/super skirmish battles. Hopefully I'll be gaming on it soon. So much to do, it's hard to cram it all in.
