The legionaries look pretty good!
The Njorn look fantastic, and that winter scene is inspiring.
Kudos to both
-
Two great entries
Would love to see some close ups of the Norn after the round has finished as they look very good (some great shield designs) but seem a little lost in the setting
-
I do like the Njorn. They have a distinctive look, which I think means Red Box Games? They look fab in that setting.
I think I might try something similar to this for this year's Christmas cake, chez Blood! ;)
Tidy painting on the Romans too. Love the grim-faced centurio. He has to be a Copplestone sculpt with that furrowed brow :)

Thank you kindly, Gentlemen!
Khartoum2 - I'll make sure to get some closeup pics of my Njorn before too long. I do have a thread for my "Skyrimheim" projekt over (Here) (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=119161.msg1493280#msg1493280) but those pics are even worse for making out the minis/paintjobs properly. Will work on rectifying that situation, and get the rest of the collection up there.
Making them a small part of a greater world is the goal - but if they get lost I guess I missed the mark a bit. Having a lot of fun trying to step up my scenic photography game, though. Results on show in rounds 4 & 6 ^^
Captain Blood - Richard, right? Thank you! They are indeed all from Red Box Games. They might even all be from Tre's "Warbands of the cold north VI" Kickstarter, delivered by the end of last year. Snowy Njorn Cake sounds delicious :D
Nikkobourges - Really digging your legionnaires too. The photography side of things can be really fun once you start seeing improvements. I've made it my challenge through this LPL to see how far I can push the equipment I already have available. No shopping new toys. Same for the miniatures, really. Best of luck up ahead, round-brother :)

Bloodsbane - Don't take it as a criticism from me as not the case and I'm the worst person for putting pictures together. Look forward to perusing your Skyrimheim project
-
Oh, no worries khartoum2! I'm just voicing the primary thought I've had since I saw my own entry contrasted against Dr Mathias in the first round - That really made it evident how much more can be done on the photography front of things.

Hello,
And thanks Bloodsbane.
I will try to improve my futur pictures for next rounds ..... a new challenge !!!
