Title: Question - Conquest Games Medieval Knights
Post by: AKULA on October 26, 2019, 10:49:26 AM
Although I’m thinking of their use more in a GoT background I thought that this might be the best place to ask for views on the Conquest Knights...

Any good? Any issues with assembly?

How do they compare size wise with Fireforge/Perry?

All views gratefully appreciated

I have done a few boxes of them in my thread here.

I quite like them. They fit well with fireforge and gripping beast plastics. And I would imagine they would work fine with Perry. But I have not tried it myself. The details on the mail is a bit on the shallow side. So you have to be careful when cleaning moldlines and to not drown it in paint.

I find them quite good, although oversize when compared with a lot of other late twelfth to early thirteenth century miniatures, I use mine mostly as seargeants, for the loss of Plantagenet France, during the Barons rebellions in Anjou, Maine and Normandy. Mixed them with larger figures from Mirliton and Gripping beast.

Cheers

Good questions as I was after a few bits and pieces for conversion work but wasn't sure of how well they would match up with my predominantly Crusader, Gripping Beast and Artizan mini's for the Reconquista.

Obviously plastic would be a lot easier to work with for the conversion work so I will be following this thread lie a trooper!
