Hi,
I'm looking to make up about twelve burned out Anglo Saxon buildings from around the 1070's.
I'm sure I've seen a "how to" for WWII burned out buildings but I cannot place it in my mind and TBH it would take me days to look through all the wargaming magazines I have!
I know what an Anglo Saxon house looks like from the outside but oddly, not the 'skeleton', not how it was constructed from the inside.
Can anyone suggest anything, a link, guidelines etc please?

Here are pictures og an "actual" burned out anglo saxon house. https://www.edp24.co.uk/news/crime/anger-as-arson-attack-destroys-anglo-saxon-longhouse-built-by-pupils-at-west-earlham-junior-school-1-4501812
Here is a video (in danish) of a reconstructed viking longhouse burning.

I don't know if any of this is any help. But really there is not much left after a housefire in that age. A black pit in the ground and a few burnt pieces of timber.
